I would pay that.

You know why? Its a part of Japanese history that you could never obtain through an Australian-delivered Import like the KE25.

We never got the 4 door. We never got the Tacho dash. We never got the 2TG fitted to our KE25's either.

I plan on importing a TE27 Levin sometime in the future. Who knows when that will be though. Need a good paying job first.

Same here I would pay that much too. TE27 go for around $10K.

Hopefully there are still some examples floating around in Japan when I have enough money for it.

You're not buying a car, you're buying history. Why else would anyone fork out 450k for a bucket of shit mid 70's falcon with a pushrod V8? Case in point Phase 3 XY GTHO.

Hmm...have to agree with rollacdmd.

Not getting much for 11k that you couldn't get here for $500...

Isn't exactly collectors spec either in that color and without original wheels. What may cost much in Japan doesn't necessarily mean will be worth here. The lack of cars of this age over there naturally means the price will be higher due to the rarity factor. Ke30's are dime a dozen here even if it's got a 2t...

Here's a Gemini for $12,200. Case in point.
