it's a jap model, and most likely base spec being that it's all vinyl.. also that dash cluster is the same as the panelvan, so again base spec. The front and back ends are also the same as what they got in europe (check out some of the Finnish ones).

 

So, in closing, it's an import and most likely came from NZ, or brought in by someone coming from Jland

Jap import for sure. Same Engine plate, Dash cluster and front end as my KE70 Panelvan.

 

Just to let you know that the jap KE70 have smaller gearbox cross members than AUS KE70

 

I have a 4AGZE into a jap KE70 Panelvan. Nothing but trouble :y: Good luck with finding a factory X-member

Um... only the AE71 crossmember has the gearbox mount off centre. If you measure the ke70 (AUS), you will find it to be centred. It's just bigger than the Jap model

The one at the wreckers, I think the front looks alot like an old Ford Meteor. Anyone else?

I thought it was one at first, then i wondered why it was in the toyota section. Then i saw it was a KE70.
