hey all looking for a wreckers in melb that i would be able to get a 3k/4k engine from mine shit itself today and need one pretty quick thanks all

3 & 4k engines are like arseholes, everyone has one. most if not all wreckers should have atleast 1 of them. i always tend to go to self serve wreckers (pick a part and pick n payless) so i can check out that sort of stuff before i buy them

I have a 4k at webers place its minus balancer, dizzy and alt.

has carb, exhaust maifold, fuel pump etc.

wasn`t whanting to offload engine as was going to rip out cam for my 5k but i`d let it go to a vic member.

1 got a 4k in storage that you can have for a sixpack of beam, not sure on condition still turns over, but it your s if you want it

I live in oakleigh and never heard of him. Is he good with old rolla's is he?

I havent met him personaly but from what others have said he seems very good. Kangaroosa speaks of him quite highly as do others.

 

Maybe give him a call on the number listed and find out for yourself!

If any one is interested, i have 4 3k's that you can have if you waqnt to dtrive to Ballarat. Two were running when removed (one was a sweet little engine).

None of which have seen 8000rpm continuously either, i bet. :cool:

What me rev a motor that hard - never ;) They were only driven on Sundays by little old ladies........Honest
