As above....

New rear brakes, 3.58 gears and REALLY sticky tires conspired against me to deny the ever famous smoky burnout.

A week later and the pile o' rubber is still sticky....

That's a new clutch. it stopped slipping after it cooled down.

I felt that an "aid" would be cheating as I USED to burn 'em until they popped with the 4.10s

He didn't post the footage of me backing her into the puddle and killing about 10,000mi off of the tire.

Hey Mikey, you need to try a roll on. ie. drive along in first then add brake with your left foot whilst adding throttle with your right. Pretty cool when you do it right, also saves your clutch and shockloads to your drivetrain.

I see you have now got peep mirrors. Need to replace the rims with more era specific ones now to better suit the look.

Going back to the steelies and dog dish hubcaps as soon as I find a pair that DO NOT LEAK!!!!

I need one more

I'm running the 9' rear brakes from the TE28, and those back tires are way too sticky.

When car show season comes around, I will be putting a pair of old bias ply tires on her to burn up.

Thats sorta like a technique I have discovered for doing cookers in work vans. Step one drive along in first gear slowly, floor the accelerator and just after that give the brakes a real good standing on, this will cause the van the lurch foward taking a lot of weight off the back wheels and start to make then spin. Once they start to spin you can release a bit of brake, but still kepp enough on it to hold it there. :bash:
