January 12, 200818 yr comment_219726 i've just picked myself up 2 gearboxes kinda cheap. one is a t50 from a TA22 (i believe) and the other is from a corolla (apparantly) here's the photo's of them that should help ID them The bottom one here is the t50 The left one here is the T50 i am very unconvinced that the unknown one is from a corolla, as the centre shaft is quite larger than the one on my k40 and the t50, as well as the clutch fork being on the opposite side of the bellhousing. all help is appreciated. dF Report

January 12, 200818 yr Author comment_219768 well, i've found it has 4 forward and 1 reverse, and it weights a heap more than the t50... the numbers cast and etched into it are still readable, it had 33111-20090 cast onto the center section, and 33141-31010 on the shifter extension. January 12, 200818 yr comment_219849 The t50 (if its 5speed) is a small bearing-20spline out,- forward shifter pos.- hydraulic clutch set upp, most likely like you wrote, from a ta22. The w40 steel box can be moded to suit a k engine by using a K-liteace bellhousing++ Report
January 13, 200818 yr comment_219856 Yep deffinately a W40. Dunno what the BH is, can tel you as much as its not R-W though! Don't forget it not uncommon to find a W40/50 behind 202's, 253's, 308's, and ever rotors, so don't automatically assume its a stock toyota BH! :fuzz: Report
