This is sort of related...............Can any goldcoast members verify how those road works are going down there on smith st? is it still like a four wheel drive track? Do some of us have to take an alternate route Getting to the dinner? May not be suitable for members with lowered cars thats all,

not sure on smith street, but the best alternate route is exit 62, down to the end, and then turn right...duh :)

yes its still rather bad but only once you pass the caltex servo, so take a right at the servo then a left into the next street (johnston st, southport) it will bring you out near the entry to Broadwater car park take a left and your bak heading towards hogs breath

there moved to next too the skool now doing that parts.

 

and i think its still abit rough..

 

but u can turn left at caltex then follow too nerang st then turn left. then go too queen st turn right follow to the end and that bring you to

 

the last taffic lights before the bridge (sundle brigde) were u turn left..
