you would be surprised,

one of the guys i know there owns a honda CRX, 11.5:1(ish) compression ratio, 156hp @ the wheels, very fast

i reackon i'll just stick with my good old 1300...

Honda CRX is also light.

Light cars with good horsepower will beat a car with the same horsepower and heavier body.

Your options are either design a head

Or stick with the K engine.

Once you have worked your engine so much, find ways to try and lighten your car legally.

apparently there were some kawasaki valve springs that could be modified to go on the 3k head that would make the top end good for 11,000 rpm.

with a massive port/polish, lumpy cam and twin solexs/webers, you should be able to get the front wheels off the ground. :P

Captain obvious to the rescue!!!!!! :P

Sorry WinKe55 but it had to be said

Haha. I was saying it for people who know less about cars than what others may.

Just like women filling up there engine oil to the brim so they can see the engine has oil. *Shakes head*

Hehehehe.

today i made water injection for my car (i know i am veering off subject a bit), and i want to make the compression ratio around 10:1 to 10.5:1 (ish)

so if anyone has shaved a bit off there 4k head, how much did you take off and what compression ratio did it end up being?

cheers
