Gday there mate,

I just wanted to ask a few questions if you got the time to answer;

I read on these pages that you have removed the bump stop above the diff and stiffened the springs and that the diff never hits anymore...

Is the rear end lowered at all from standard or still standard height?

Does it not hit AT ALL when you give it a good launch?

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Yes i removed the bump stop completely, Leaf springs are standard height. With the stock (old) leaf springs the diff sat on the bump stop which is why i removed it, the diff would hit the body on HARD launches and dented the floor slightly (maybe up an inch or so). Once i fitted the uprated (new) leaf springs I NEVER heard the diff hit again. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Ryan

p.s. I have some updates.... Ill post in here when i have more time

The look of the car has slightly changed from a sleeper to street/race mainly due to the fact I'm only interested in going FAST and need MORE AIRFLOW.

So I started to bolt the interior back in

My old passenger door had a massive hole/crack from my side mirror being ripped off by some lowlife

Bolted in my new race seats, rollcage, 4 point harness and test fitted my hydro handbrake

The next plan was to get MORE AIR IN to the engine bay and HOT air out. I want to decrease overall engine temp and reduce overheating problems from prolonged hard driving.

F/G vent above turbo location, aero catch flush mount bonnet pins

So i had to attack the bonnet

Then i attacked the front valence panel

Found a matching F/G vent for the other side of my bonnet, don't think ill use the aero inlet at the front so ill cut that off

Hey mate, just wondering what brand /size fuel cell you got?

Did it come with a fuel level sender?

That heat wrap doesn't go far! I bought 18' of to do my extractors and didn't get very far!!

Good luck with the rest of the build!

Hey guys thanks for the comments, if anybody can help please let me know http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/58449-ke2-crossmemberfront-suspension/page__p__587101#entry587101

Fuel Cell is a 57 litre (16 Gallon) Tank, the sender unit included.

The heat wrap definitely didnt go very far but i did manage to get it just past the gearbox crossmember which isnt too bad.
