kiahn Posted July 19, 2009 Author Report Posted July 19, 2009 yeh i was going to but I'm only allowed 2 engines in my shed at one time ans seen as the 2 guys that were supposed to pick up parts didn't show. also i didnt have the money to buy the master cylinder what are peoples opinions on the master cylinders on ebay?? i know their a cheap jobby but that really all i need as this engine only needs to last 2 years before a i get my 4agte possibly even 4agtte :P oh and i have an update, when taking my old exhaust out i smashed it into my hydraulic brake line and upon inspection found out all my lines need replacing so i will have to buy a pipe bender and a shitload of pipes and redo my lines. i also might put in a bigger fuel line while I'm there. so much to do :) Quote

LukeAE71 Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 + 1 for putting in pedal box and clutch master while engine is out, wayyyy more room to work when drilling :) Oh well, you win some you lose some, but in the end you live to fight another day :) Good work son, keep it up and this thing will be going in no time :P Quote
kiahn Posted July 28, 2009 Author Report Posted July 28, 2009 yeh i should have done it while engine was out but i couldnt because dad wanted the engines out of the shed, my 4K is now being sold in my 4 sale thread:) decided on a colour yesterday, after 3 months of colour deliberation ive decided on blood red in deep gloss yummy aye Quote
seabiscuit Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 That's fukn shiny. Do you really think it will suit a KE70, though? Quote
trav_555 Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 That will certainly suit a ke70, sexy as mate :D Travis Quote
kiahn Posted July 29, 2009 Author Report Posted July 29, 2009 grant scott and littleredspirit have both proven that red is a brilliant colour for E7's i was kinda hoping to build a car that is good enough to be shown at car shows, my friend had his integra at an auto salon 4 years back wont be painting it until ive repaid my parents and got my car fully licenced, that way when its painted i can take it out on a cruise straight away cheers for the opinions on the colour Quote
Tume Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 MATE! Thats the colour I've been looking for the code of for ages, what is the code for it do you know? Agreed that its an awesome colour :D . Quote
kiahn Posted July 30, 2009 Author Report Posted July 30, 2009 (edited) not letting anyone know the colour I'm going for but it will be close to blood red but start off with going to a paint shop and telling them you want something like blood red when i think of my KE70 in this colour it makes me happy in my pants lol how many coats of gloss would i need to do to get it to look the same as that corolla?
