OK so i started off messing around withe the stock pulley on

the sc14 and have decided to go stupid with a 77mm pulley

and have had a custome crank pulley made. if the calculations

are done right should be pump out 17psi when at 6000rpm ....

MAYBE.... lol

but i need help with what to do about the bottem end any suggestions?

the psi should be prety constant through out the rev range

where would a good place be to send my cam or get a cam from?

What type of cam you aiming for?

 

I can't see how a cam will help that much. i run a standard one and its heaps good, good power from idle to about 6500. maybe go for a cam that peaks from 2k to 6k?

 

BTW, whay crank pulley is that?

fast it melts the teflon seals, i think about 12psi was some sort of limit...

i want something that is good down low so i don't need to rev it hard,

I was told 12,000-13,000 rpm is the safe limit for SC12's and SC14's. People have gone over that and had no worries and some people have.

Its actually the teflon coating on the rotors have been know to separate above 12psi i think.

I have seen a SC14 run constantly at 14PSI. Soon as it went to 15 it started loosing the Teflon coating on the rotors. This makes the tight seal so I wouldn't push one past 14 PSI my self but to have longevity id go max of about 11 PSI ish

 

Also 12-13,000 RPM is correct.
