New seat belts are fitted, very nice indeed.

The inside of the car looks so clean!!

 

Have finished the sump guard mould, not perfect but it is a sump guard after all!!

Probably look at doing it next weekend, have another rally car to work on tomorrow.

Have finally got to do the sump guard.

We'll find out tomorrow how it turns out!!

Finished fitting and modding all the alloy pulleys, now everything lines up!!

Tony has fitted the new rally plugs, leads and the plug cover, looks sweet.

Decided to relocate the themo fan too, it was blowing hot air on to the jug's when it turned on.

 

We now have a date set for it's first rally,so we have to pull finger, still heaps to do.

Hoping to have it ready for rego next week, 6 new tyre's have been ordered.

She might not be completely finished when it does it's first event, but it'll be dam close.

:blinks: wow good to hear mate hope u can get it on the road and get it tested to get all the cob webs out and get it all sorted :happy:

 

Dad has almost finished out dash wiring so we will be close to putting dash, switches etc in and a step closer to start up :dance: can't wait :wink:

Bumpers are now fitted and they look great!!

Sump guard hasn't turned out as well as i'd hoped but may still be able to use it.

This is a sweet build. I'm drawing a lot of inspiration from this for my AE82 project.

It won't look as clean as this, but it makes me more determined to pay more attention to detail.

 

Not a lot of people can appreciate how much work goes into something like this.

I certainly can't. No one can fully appreciate it until you have done it for yourself! :happy:

 

I can't wait to see her on the loose! Probably not in person. Maybe on video? :wink:
