13BT_KE20 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Share Posted October 10, 2009 seems like youve been able to get pretty decent prices on stuff so far all brand new $700 isnt too bad, but I'm sure another second hand $200 one will do fine. spent the $500 saved elsewhere on the car, brakes, suspension, weber a healthy stock 12A with a weber (properly tuned) and a decent exhaust will go pretty well in a light corolla u should make 100ish rwkw, mine makes 155rwkw and it absolutely hammers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kangaroosa Posted October 11, 2009 Report Share Posted October 11, 2009 My Stock 12A (S1RX7 Motor) makes 102.7rwkw with a DCOE48. The exhaust is too restrictive, which is robbing it of more power. Its great fun to drive. I actually have a S5 Turbo gearbox in mine, which i've read is not really the ideal ratios for a NA setup. However, I know it will be near indestructible.
