Hey, i was wondering what things should be done if your car hasn't been started in a few months. In about June, i parked the Corolla and i started it every week, however about a month and a half ago i had a operation and couldn't start the car cos i was bed ridden, so it hasn't been started since then..and since the cruising season is nearly here, i want to start driving it everywhere.

I just want to know, what things should i do before i start driving or what i should look for before driving?

Before i parked it i had just topped up the coolant and oil...

Thanks, Dion

I live in Croydon champ and you're probably not far from me.

Personally, I'd whip off the coil lead and crank her over a bit to get the oil pressure up.

Make sure the battery is charged first. If its a sealed unit, get a trickle charger and charge it up.

Other than that, fire her up. :P
