blown 5k Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 What you lot on about...a guy i knows got one in his car its got 318hp at the wheels on a new hub dyno its rapid, boost limited due to class rules to 18 pounds boost. Quote
Super Jamie Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 1981 KP starlet with CA18DET and intercooler. has blow off valve and electric mirrors. something about ae86 lights or front bar. has ae86 lsd. body has had "spot increasing reinforcement" (spot welding?). oversized tacho and shift light. battery in boot. engine conversion has been made legal with authorities. car has never been crashed. this is a relisting with a lower price. aircon isn't hooked up but the heater works he only wants AUD$5800 for it!!! rjenman Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 mm reminds me of that $6000 ke70 with sr20det in brisbane.. thats a pretty darn good price... but its probably just a finished project worth negative money because of what it needs done... anyway sticking to the subject, i don't think a ca18det compared to a 3K is a boat anchor... thats like saying a silver ring instead of a tin ring is shit because its not gold. who needs bling anyway. never mind Quote
Medicine_Man Posted June 13, 2005 Author Report Posted June 13, 2005 body has had "spot increasing reinforcement" (spot welding?). Probably means its seam welded... Quote
irokin Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 looks seam welded around the strut towers... Quote
