irokin
I've made a couple of changes to the For Sale skin sets to streamline a few things behind the scenes. If you encounter any errors trying to post, reply or edit topics/posts please let me know!

InSaNiTy
Hey, I'm fairly new to Rollaclub and in the process of buying a Rolla that's why I haven't introduced myself yet. Basically the bug is that I have posted like 5 times and on my profile it still says 0 posts. Wasn't a problem until everyone with 0 posts were banned from using their PM. I really need to use my PM centre to contact people about selling/buying cars. I have even started my own thread in the Want To Buy section, and bumped it but still says my account has 0 posts. I'm Using IE8 atm (have tried other PC's and browsers), and coke is better. Hopefully I can get my PM centre back, Thanks, Stephen

irokin
Now you've got a post from that post it should be active again. There are a bunch of forums (mostly the for sale areas) that don't contribute to your post count. Disabling PMs for people with no posts is hopefully just a temporary fix. I believe spam solutions should present minimal impact to end users. Something such as reCAPTCHA (which is fairly useless these days) is about as intrusive as I like to get. Reviewing signups manually is a big no-no for me. If a user cannot register instantly then the system is too intrusive on their site experience. Unfortunately that leaves me walking a very fine line between being annoying users and giving spammers free reign.
Raven
I'm having a slight issue every now and then with "www.bannerspace.com.au" not responding?
irokin
I'm having a slight issue every now and then with "www.bannerspace.com.au" not responding? Yea their server seems to be crashing nightly now. Its for the castrol ad. I've changed the code so you can still browse where as a couple of days ago it made rollaclub non-responsive even though our server was perfectly fine. I need to get onto them and give them a hurry up.
irokin
I sent them an email this morning Raven and they're going to look into it. If it bombs out again tonight I'll disable the ads until their server comes good again.

irokin
Can you check your spam folder for me? Edit: Never mind appears to be server side.
towe001
Nope, nothing there apart from the typical viagra and other rubbish. I've also had a poke around to see if rollaclub.com was put onto the block list (no) and its also still on my contacts list. I've just had a look see in my control panel but i don't see anything out of wack, all the boxes are ticked for email notification. Had to take a run to the smallest room in the house and realized that its been happening on and off since saturday
