the 15ich chasser's u had on ur car what were they off???

 

did they fit stright on or have to use spacer or sothink

 

as when i had a set on my old gemini i have to use spacer's as they wouldnt fit over the hub

std bumps will not let you go any furthur than 130mm from sills. so you would be running 150mm ish from sills. hardly 2' lower.

I ran 20mm bolt on's on the front to clear.

 

 

Pending wheel size/ tyre height ;)

 

with std 13' 175x65's

just went and measured. its around 18cm off the sill

 

13's with no leafs on bumpstops

 

std height on 14's

 

2inch compressed springs in the front and flipped eyes in the rear (on stops)

 

main leaf with eyes cut off and flipped ontop of the stock leaf pack

 

front control arms are almost flat.

i think my 55 is around 2 inch lower in the rear and is about 1/2 a inch from the bumpstops and still legal!

 

So how do the above pictures depict this quote? what base hight were you working from?

nfi. i went from the ground to top of the guard. I'm pretty sure it went down 2inch's

Sorry bro, I'm trying to nut out where your coming from. Your comment sounded to me like you had the rear height of your 55 to 2' lower than mine and still legal. 60mm from the sills is illigal in QLD thats why i was hasseling for answers.

 

Now i get that you were working from stock height, and nothing to do with the update. Cheers for the pics to clarify what you were saying.

Local wreckers want $1100 for a 7k, will try the toyota spec wreckers tomorrow but i do not hold to much hope. looks like engine may have to wait a couple of weeks :(

Yes you do. But i run a stock exhaust so i don't think the 5.0 will worry to much about poping the hood. People up here are pretty relaxed witch is awesome :)

Update time, overrated dash + dash pad fitted yesterday, whole car given a once over + tune. she is running very smooth! pics to come once i find my camera.

Twin solex side draft's purchased, watch this space over the weekend!

Purchased a sweet 5k last weekend, currently giving it a once over while i get a manifold for the carbies.

 

Rust repair is set to begin in the next few weeks then paint!!!

 

I don't have a camera atm, but have taken the roof racks off... love it!

 

Will be attending the all jap classic on the 20th of this month, hopefully engine will be in.
