hmmm.....i'm now remembering the problems i had with the wrong offset wheel.....i eventually got fed up (as well as the little problem with fitting new tyres) and bought the set i have on my car now for $60 from All Jap car parts......prolly the best deal anyone has ever gotten out of that place......*shakes head*.......i've got a set of 12inch mags exactly like those ones.....except that the stud pattern is off the old rollas.....

edit: when i say old rollas i mean older than the ones you see on this forum. :D

Those look great there Demuire. You can never have too much breaks. Mind if you elaborate a bit more on the parts you used etc...

Also what's the dimensions of those spacers in the struts, and where did you get the coilover kit from.... Also strut tops...Adjustable??

I'm just trying to find info for my Soarer build up

Thanks

Parts:

Struts: Corona RT132, shortened 40mm, 23(?)mm spacers on the bottom

Inserts: Koni Yellow AE92

Springs: Kings 250mm, 250lb, can't remember ID

Tops: KMac adjustable

Steering arms: AE86 powersteering

Control arms: Mitsubishi Scorpion

Coilover sleeves and hats from Fulcrum

Discs: Peugeot 604 vented, slotted, from DBA

Calipers: Toyota Landcruiser

Pads: Racebrakes for RX7

Brake master cylinder: 15/16' from Mitsubishi Pajero

Brake booster: Late model KE35

The booster, master cylinder are bolt on. Pipes need to be made.

Control arms, using modified original bushes, custom crush tubes, ends shaved for clearance from the disc (at the moment only 1mm, have been told this is not enough)

Discs redrilled to fit, shaved 1mm off outside diameter

Calipers shaved 3mm

Hubs shaved 4mm

Pads notched to clear struts

Everything else (is there anything else at all???) bolt on.

Cost so far (that I've remembered to write down): $2530

Still have to finish making up the lines and get a banjo for the master cylinder....

irokin: have already machined about as much as the engineer is comfortable to machine...

Well, I *could* machine it another 1 or 1.5mm maybe, but that would mean that my "new" set of wheels won't fit anymore either (as the already only have about 1mm clearance). It's hard enough to find wheels to fit as it is... Maybe next time. I'll give the current setup a go and if my discs get majorly carved up I'll have to reevaluate the situation.
