I used a 45 liter tank as this is what most Corolla's seem to have. But, if your car has a larger (or smaller) tank and want to work it out visit calculator-converter.com

Allways, anything else is pointless

3kh ke35 6L /100k open roads, 7L mixed

4k kp61 6.5L/100k open, 8L mixed but drive it harder.

My gas is probably cooler than yours so I get more bang for buck :jamie:

Just thought I would add my 2 cents.

While my 'rolla is off the road I drive my 1998 Nissan Pulsar.

It was getting around 9.5L/100km but then I did a full service and am now getting 8.3L/100 km,

amazing what a service can do!

Most of this driving is on the freeways but I drive it hard and use Shell V power fuel.

Cousin has a 3rz auto space cab 2wd hilux, after replacing the engine fan with a thermo and putting a CAI pod on it it gets 200k's more to a tank which is was only averaging 450 before hand.

how does just those 2 things improve fuel economy that drastically?

CAI = denser air = better economy.

Removing fan = less engine drag = better economy.

I did not believe the results until I seen them either but it is true.

Out in the Clubsport the other day.

19.1l/100 around the burbs, Ouch!. (blowin out the cobwebs ya see!!!).

Then went for a cruise down to Litchfield NP and back, achieved and overall average of 10.6l/100. Sitting on the 130km/h limit.

None to shabby for a worked 355.

Wow I wish I got those sort of K's per tank or km/100k. With filling up my tank I would be lucky to get 400km's. I have a ke70 with a 5k running 32/36, extractors, 2 inch zorst with lol sports muffler.

Just had the car dyno'd and carbie rejected, I some how seemed to be getting more K's/100 before this though??? And no it wasn't running lean.
