philbey
so much for austerity measures. liking that they even machined out rebates in the cam lobe to really bring the rotating mass down.... I was hoping for beserk high revs like 12k+!
kickn5k
Stunning work, no wonder Greece is broke! Imagine sitting in it when it hits 5000rpm! We just got a set of beryllium gudgen pins in for a prostock engine for a customer of ours and the pins cost about $3800 plus gst. So I'd be thinking piston would be about that EACH. Be interesting to see how long they lasted as it's not a material many piston companies use. Prob 100k plus engine. Lovin the custom cnc block but seeing what a nos backfire does to an sr block I would sacrfice weight for strength and use something a bit stronger as coin seems to be no problem. Awesome thread +1 for the find Stu.
