    Replace the whole thing man.   You can put the kit through it but the walls of the cylinder will be pitted and shit and will wear down the new seals, and create the same problem.   MIne was $115 b

Looking good mate, keen to see how you go with the SC5k.

Some of the best stuff I've used is in a can. PartsMaster or something like that. Was on special from AutoBarn for like $0.99 a can.

Cheap "no name" oven cleaner is awesome for removing carbon off piston crown and cyl heads.

I'm looking at building up a 5K aswell. Will be watching this thread to see how the engine build goes.

I'm also interested in how much acid dipping is.
