Went to my mates work, there was this E-type in there that had just had 370Z tail and headlights fabbed into the body. Actually looked cool as.

Dude they look schmick!

How long are they from top to bottom? You took a lot out of the strut.

How come you didn't weld the sleeve at the top as well?

About 600mm. Didnt take anything out of the strut, it has a short stroke in it spaced up.

Didnt see the point welding the top. Its not going anywhere. And Mikes welding is exemplary.

I'm running a pajero mc as well, great lil upgrade!

how'd you find the difference?

Nothing is installed yet, will be installed in a fortnight.

Ha ha yeah, 65mm spacers :P.

Considered shortening them but with the short strokes it'd be far to low. Lukes was 60mm at the sump when he had the shocks at the bottom with a gland nut spacer.

Yeah, wound all the way up too , no room for adjustment. Well he could of gone lower I suppose :D

Late edit: Clean for AJD

at least it looks to be done half proper, appart from bastardising a classic, its not a bad effort.
