But, You could also just run a 3 or 5mm slip on spacer to push the wheels out a bit, if you have stepped lips on the back of your rims that may be enough to fix it. Hate to be in a serious accident and when investigated, it is found that you have ground the calipers down...... Also, arent spacers also illegal????? Andy43 Posted February 16, 2012 Report Share Posted February 16, 2012 This is not uncommon. 3 options. Replace the jap calipers for the aussie one's. (This is the perferered option) Grind about 2mm off the caliper where it touches. (I have this done to my road car will cause you no problems) Extend the wheel studs, fit a spacer and while your there get a strut bend to give you some neg camber.
