Sorry to say it but you are wrong.

 

After work i did a bit more work to the mount for the rear speakers

As you can see i need a curve in the board

So i routed some trenches into the board and then laid some fibreglass over the top. All going well it'll hold the curve, otherwise i'll have to use thinner mdf sheets and laminating them together for the needed curve.
