yeah was thinking that.

seat is going to be the last thing i do so i can come up with the best and strongest way for it

but would also be welding in flat bar to the bottom of the floor for extra strength in the floor

the right hand side of the seat will still need to be raised up an inch to level it out on the floor but I'm thinking this may be a good solution for this problem I'm having.

for the rear top side bolts i will make up the uneven floor where in dips down into the rear seat footwell with a mount for either side.

picked up some xt130 struts with brakes on em for $45 each pulled from the wreckers today.

pretty damn happy with that

 

also put in my extended lca's

which through out my alignment bad due to the tierods not being long enough.

they will be getting extended once i get some decent tubing.

scored a nice bit of stainless C channel which has solved my seating problem

cleaned the engine up a bit with the wire brush and sanding block.

and fitted my wheels up to the rear so i could measure what size flares to order.

i want to run a little stretch as possible

the fronts require some to help with strut clearence but will be running the bare minimum.

put the engine in over the last week

the guy i bough it off made the mounts a bit crooked so had to fix that.

which resulted in it sitting up a little higher then i wanted but atleast its straight

there is probably less then 1cm between the top of the firewall and the throttle body

only downside is the box was sitting against the tunnel so i had to cut out one side of it and bashed the other out

will be making a removalbe cover for it when i get ahold of some sheeting.

 

rear is pretty much finished suspension wise

got the sierra shocks in and it holds the choppies in at a perfect height

will order some decent springs eventually but these will do for now

have some xt130 struts sitting in the boot waiting till i order weld ons and then the front is sorted.

just need a radiator clutch and driveshaft and its ready to play

started on shaping the removable trans tunnel today.

got to get one more peice for the left side and then weld it all up and get some bonnet pins to hold it in place.

also may have a new engine coming for this.

gotta wait till sunday to find out if it alright but.

anyone guess what it is.

You can actually flip the inlet manifold over and run the inlet pipe out the front on theses :)

thats actually a pretty good idea would clear up alot of room.

still waiting to hear back from my uncle about this engine first

brake lights were F'd in the A so put some LED's i had in them instead

while i was getting the wiring all sorted.

Are the LED's two stage, normal and brighter for braking?

no i have another pair I'm yet to put in just gotta run wires

they will end up as an X once the brakes are on

will be tinting those ones so they arnt as bright
