can finally start some serious work on this now.

gotta sort some shit out in the shed for room, its still full of crap from moving house.

then i will rip the engine out and sand the car all back ready to be repainted.

ive been in love with over fenders since i was i kid so ive decided that this is getting some.

so while thats getting done the engine will get a freshen up and a radiator will get sourced if i can't get the bloke at work to build me a custom one.

have a couple pics

Apparently this conversion isn't too hard to do.

Although, the weight of the commodore engine isn't so great in a forward position for cornering and handling, and it would do well to set it back into the firewall so the weight isn't over the front wheels so much.

that's one of the main differences with these conversions and a 4age/sr20. I'd contemplated it, but opted to get a 5k and work that a bit.

Have you seen the 1uz V8 corolla? That's pretty wicked.

What're you using this for? Drags, burnouts, drifts? It would definitely do all of those!

Looks like it should be fun!

yeah pretty much covered em man just gonna be a trasher.

yeah would be good to set it back but thats just more work id rather not do since the engine mounts and everything are already done.

just gotta lift it up and bolt it in.

if i had of done the conversion myself i would have set it back.

i love the motorfix rolla, ive put a fair share of views on that video

dash looks neat as.. I gotta start doing mine..

also it pretty interesting how they did the flares on that 1uz rolla :/

0:41 - you can see a bit more of the flares.

I'd say they're fibre-glassed or welded on, then bogged & painted.

I'll be keeping an eye on your build. It might be interesting to do one of these conversions. Really - I don't see it being very hard to do. the Commodore engine is actually really easy to work on and relatively cheap.

trailer design we will hopefully base mine off. rear ends fold up for driving when its empty.

will have removable flooring between the wheels to make oil changes and shit easy to do when its sitting on the trailer

and sidewalls so it can be used as a normal box trailer if needed.
