glenpos Posted October 15, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 15, 2013 whos ddid your engine work G'day, i got the re-boring done at benalla engine reconditioners for $275, the pistons were $460, and i got acl race series gasket for $50ea, they are thinner than normal ones but still standard style to go with saloon cars rules, then sent the other stuff over to automotive super balance in shepparton, they did it for $200, he went pretty nuts on it too and did a nice job so should be good, and me and dad are putting it all together, just can't do the machine work as don't have the tools haha 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

glenpos Posted October 30, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 30, 2013 Pretty big update, Engine is mostly back together, just gotta port match the manifold the tiny little bit thats allowed, then might get it glass beed blasted, pretty exited, wont be long till its going now!! will let the pics do the talking.. sump cleaned up well, note the difference between it the vt sump, and the later vy sump, earlier is baffled... vy sump, not baffled and has thing hanging off the back.. as it sits now thoughts? :y: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
