Just drove it, like usual... without seeing any other RWD Corollas at all, which is also usual. Haven't seen one in Cairns in three months except one AE86.

 

The last thing was to use a couple of insulation blanket spikes to hold my underbonnet blanket up above the airbox flap. Might add that to the build topic.

 

They're all at my place :P

Parked it on the grass and worked on the Cortina, should have put a for sale sign on it

Haha about a year ago I was the only one with a KE within 1500km (and running)

Started it up and listened to it purr :P

 

Although it won't sound so much like a tractor once I get a full exhaust on her

Did a 5K swap on a mates KE30, had some problems getting the cooling system to seal. Then when it was all working properly...

 

we did a skid :D

Replaced the original am/fm radio with a Sony head unit, installed some 6x9's in the parcel shelf and "under carpet" wired them up. Also reset the points and hoping it'll drive a bit smoother tonight.

 

And I plan to service it Wednesday.

Put 6kg springs and 30-way shocks in the back, and installed bonnet pins!

Put another 100k on it round trip to work as per everyday. Old girl clicked over 95000 today, getting a not high for a 28 year old car :)

Don't you worry, I did a good job. Looks clean. It's the Mustangy ones with the torsion pins and lanyards through the grill.

 

When I get my hands on a camera, I'll take a pic or two.

Tried to get it to Idle on it own and idle smooth. I hate Carbys and dizzys :(!!!!

 

Tried another carby, gapped the points bigger... Still nothing.
