senasridh Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 Oh thanks friend, i saw original hub caps in the pics you send me in that orange colour 6sri immaculate deluxe. anyway i'm not going to get back into hub caps.. but i have a question to ask. if you know , can you please tell me where can i find that red colour spark plug cap. :scarymovie: my caps are cracked and the water tries to leak into the spark plug chamber. ;) And also where can i find a good quality front suspension bush set. Because it is hard to find these bushes. Today we changed the front tie bar bushings. It was bushings in a town ace in there. :lmao: it was loose and we replace them with a suitable bush set. It was ok but they are also not corolla bushings. :hmm: so it will be a great help if you can tell me something about that. :hail: Thanks again. will throw up as soon some pics of the whether strip as you asked bye Hi mate, My spark plug caps also black in color.I asked from our mechanics about a place where can I buy red colour set.He told to look around panchikawatta. Better you replace cracked one with black, till u find red ones. Regarding suspension bushes,he told that it'll available in local spare part shops. These days I'm searching double filament, double contact medium size bulb for front parking. It is hard to find medium size double filament, double contact bulbs here. bye. Quote

asirike20 Posted September 7, 2012 Author Report Posted September 7, 2012 (edited) Hi, sorry i forgot to tell you about that.. Here's the bits from athurugiriya/walagama wreck yard... column cover left and right air vents right rear inner door lock mechanism dash panel light and a left side front upholstery item ha ha worth than 1000 rupees  And the things you need to repaint the switches 1. A correction fluid bottle..( tipex ) :hmm: 2. liquid thinner  3. A cotton bud or a piece of cotton wool  now get the switch knob out from the switch unit... remember there is a tiny screw before you turn it to left  then clean the knob / remove any dust or grease You can see/feel the letters and the picture (not only a print ) Now get your tipex bottle and clean its tip before you get into work Just apply on the knob.... be sure to let the ink go into the letters and the image.. Now let it air dry. At last get a cotton bud and wet it with thinner and wipe it over (only the excess ink/paint will be removed except ink in the letters and the image) that's all....... now you can see the real quality of the switch :rocknroll: please let me know after you get successful :hail: is that owners manual yours ??? clean book... i'm also finding one... That words send me to 197x s And i thought " why didn't i born earlier than 1992 " ha ha...... cheers Edited September 7, 2012 by asirike20 Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted September 7, 2012 Report Posted September 7, 2012 Ahh, the picture is stamped into the button and is recessed? Fill up the groove and clean off the bits that go over the edges? Neat idea, I like it. You should mask it and clear coat it too to seal it maybe? Quote
