iwontarolla
I think i have found a rotary for this thing for 500 bucks needs a rebuild but that means bridge port. T series is starting to go in tomorrow if the weather is any good. also was talking to my dad as hes a industrial electrician we are planning on making up a touch screen and using a PLC to do its think to run the information in to the touch screen. this will allow every thing like tacho, speed, oil pressure or any thing in fact u want. no need to run a motec screen and i can fully customize5 the screen and will cost me nothing. Jono.C
Bloke i know was saying he used a 4wd spring of some description on his ke70, cut the 1 spring into 4 and did the whole car, Mega face palmed..
It's_AUDM_Yo
A cut spring is still a spring, its generally you end up with spastic spring rate and it not seating properly.

iwontarolla
I'm thinking about doing bolt on guards, and painting it red. So be red with black bolt ons and my black hurricanes it should look pretty mean. Once it's home I'll strip it back to pretty much to just the shell. I'm plaining on getting a cage put in nothing over the top just basic 6 point cage. Think i might run 4 link with watts link unsure on rear suspension at the moment. Going to try and do alot of custom fabrication for things. Hopefully keep cost down a little bit more and I can build my skills more. iwontarolla
Trying not to spend money on this yet, and trying not to work on it due to my panel van needs to get off defect. But other day was bored so started stripping it. Just got the last of the air con bits to go. Then I'll get a bit of dry ice and remove the sound deading. Got quoted 1700 for a 6 point weld in cage, or just under a grand for All the hopes bent up. So either way pretty happy with that, lot cheaper then I thought it was going to be. The engine I had lined up sold as well doesn't really bother me as it was just wasting money at the moment. Ohh cars finally at my house so it's car 13 haha. iwontarolla
nothing really has been done with this, its been fully stripped and thats about it. I'm starting to get it ready for a cage to go in, engine wise theres big surprise that will take a year or so to build. alot of work but it will be porn, but very risky for now it will either get my 4k or 7age for now. i have applied for a engine conversion for my panel van so if i get approved this will get my 4k what will be rebuilt balanced then my side drafts back on. if i get denied then it will get a high compression 7age for now. suspension will be getting worked unsure what i want to achieve at the rear but figure that out soon enough. should get updates going a bit more now see how we go. altezzaclub
suspension will be getting worked unsure what i want to achieve at the rear but figure that out soon enough. Leave the layout stock with some Nolathane in the arms. Just fit whatever springs and shocks work OK. That way you can concentate on getting it mobile and see how it feels on the track. Sigma LCAs, Corona struts, vented discs, anything to get some bite at the nose and get fancy after you've had some fun it it for a while. iwontarolla
That's the plan got most of it laying around, but will still need to sort out for later on down the track. As its getting quite a nice power plant what will need a bit more than just the simple bits. Going to be good to drive on track and not worrying about hurting people or getting done by the cops. LittleRedSpirit
This should be good! Making a brick aerodynamic! Due to the lightness of a ksev I prefer to compare its aero to that of a tissue box. Edited March 2, 2013 by LittleRedSpirit
