SM Hunter Posted November 29, 2015 Author Report Posted November 29, 2015 (edited) haha i know, but they said the KE20 is god for 85KW without any papers form toyota... started making the car road legal again, failed at the EU-test, lots of small things... and some bigger.. this has to be fixed... after my "crash" this summer i bent a bar under the car.. this.... started bashing it out.. looks good above.. bottom is all smashed.. wohoo welded this up, since it was a bit floppy fixed a rust hole here also fixed a hole here front shocks are blow and leaking all over the place, so i took them off the car and wiped them clean, now I'm hoping it will pass the EU-check then when i have money i can get brake dics for my ae86 struts and swap in those instead of theese shitty struts/brakes.. soo when i installed it I put my camberplaters on.. also fixed the wiper fluid, horn, took of my extra lights since i had too many.. only allowed to have 2 and fasten my batteri a bit more... altezzaclub Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 You been out practicing?? hang on, maybe it was here.. These Rallyrollas are everywhere! Quote
SM Hunter Posted December 15, 2015 Author Report Posted December 15, 2015 (edited) Hah always out practicing! yeah i going to weld in a bar n the harness to mount the straps to, the angle is a bit to much for much liking... anyways, got the car through inspections so now i have a daily again! needs a wash and a de-iceing :( Quarter bumpers! and i'v been thinking way to much lately, I'm absolutely going to own a AE86 before I'm 20, hopefully before! i'v created a saving accout named "AE86" and started saving up, all my extra's go to that accout, next year I'm finished with school and i can hopefully get a low wage job and start earning some cash... the problem is, i can't get a car form Japan/UK/austraila because its RHD, yeah i CAN but i don't want RHD... it must be a Hatch, it must be Trueno, it must have a 4A-GE... the problem being i don't want a USA car due to import laws and shipping prices, and we only got the Levin here in europe.. so i have to buy a "Euro spec" one and swap the front end to a Trueno, i also want it to be red or white panda so it'll need a repaint--> i can find a shabby Levin hatch here in Europe, strip it down, and take my time rebuilding it JUST like i want it, its just that finding a car is sooo hard! i'v talked to my brother and he may be able to pay for me if i find a perfect car and don't have the cash yet, so I'm just searching arround now... anyways the Rallyrolla is still getting AE86 struts with trd shocks and coils, 4age and a diff upgrade, not planning on selling any of my 20's to afford getting a AE86, I'm going to work really hard instad! i'v managed to get work now in x-mas, from 26.dec to 2. jan woking 15-20 hours a day= money and another one Edited December 15, 2015 by SM Hunter Quote
SM Hunter Posted December 21, 2015 Author Report Posted December 21, 2015 yesterday soemone tried to steal my car! he was to dumb but to manage to steal it.. lol a unlocked 1975 corolla and you can't steal it, you really should find something else to do! haha ALL the stuff in the gloveroom was scraped on the floor and all over the place, probly looking for keys, the main power switch was turned on and the fire extinguisher was gone, he probly left in a hurry because the door was wide open when in the morning... makes me so mad a filthy idiot has been inside my car..! anyways, got my AE86 brakes and wheel bearings.. mounted to hubs and new bearings now i need new bolts for the calipers mounts and longer bolts for the control arms since i have Roll center adjusters... altezzaclub Posted December 21, 2015 Report Posted December 21, 2015 yesterday soemone tried to steal my car What! I thought Norway was an honest country! Did they leave footprints in the snow? Have you got an asylum center in the town? Time to fit some secret wiring and cutout switches.... Quote
SM Hunter Posted January 23, 2016 Author Report Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) had a bit of an accident and lost a tire on the highway.. found a replacement but the bolts was loose and the tire did not hold air out with the 2T-C and in with something better great view in the garage now i don't think there will be a turbo in the brown one, I'm sticking with 2T-B with bike carbs.. about 100hp and i got everything i need AE86 to the left TA22 gearbox to the left, my tailshaft fits the TA22 box but does not bolt up to the 4A-GE so i need a 4AGE bellhouse to bolt up to it.. :) engine in, have to wait a week to do the engine mounts because i don't have a exhaust manifold yet.. ill also be doing the fuel system, going with a surge tank :) new steering knuckles, quick steering! 1+1/4 turn on the steering wheel to full lock the camberplates did not fit so i think i need new coilovers tops... but i put in orignal ones for now :) looks like i needed those RCA's... SM Hunter Posted January 24, 2016 Author Report Posted January 24, 2016 AE86 Brakes , ke20 brakes stiffer dampers behind low and stiff.. only had some 15" in the shop.. will be rocking 13" found a fuel pump, also orderd a Surge Tank , hose and fittings Quote
parrot Posted January 25, 2016 Report Posted January 25, 2016 Chrom Glans! I reckon I could use some of that. If you are going to rebuild the rear calipers on the AE86, be aware you need a fancy SST tool from Toyota. It is cheap - around $AUD20, but you might want to source one now in case they become unavailable. Impossible without it. Let me know if you need the part number. Quote
SM Hunter Posted January 31, 2016 Author Report Posted January 31, 2016 yeah i probly have to rebuild them :) ill PM you later ;) made some engine mounts, a bit of a hassle due to the oil filter you lucky bastards down under, i hae to use to use the original manifold and modify the downpipe to clear the steering made a hole in the firewall to pull the wiring testing if i know how to wire it, made it crank but i didnt have spark, forgot to hook up the condensator so i think thats the problem, i even had possitive at the coil... have to use the radiator of the AE86, so now i need to make mounts for that, make the exhaust, set up a surge tank setup, and do the wiring :D Quote
parrot Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 The injector power is through a separate circuit just in case you don't know. In an AE86 this is located in a different loom from the engine loom that has the 2 plugs to the ECU. The ECU simply provides the signal for the injector to pulse. Look here for the 4AGE Engine diagnostics manual which shows the circuit you need to add. http://www.aeu86.org/technical/ae86-manuals/ Quote
parrot Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 The caliper tool you need is Adjusting bolt: 09756-00010 Quote
