Gday all, hear is my lil '78 Ive been working on for the last couple of months, with a lot more months to follow. It started out as the corolla that "Little" Grandma took to lawnbowls then it was bought by my Dad around 14 years ago and was transformed into a Datsun-1600-flogging-Rally-machine. Running a 2TG, Dad and i rallyed it for a few years when we then retired it to the shed were it sat for about 5 years collecting dust (and rust). In the meantime we moved to Qld and brought the beast to the sun. Dad had really lost interest by then and it was left to sunbake up north with the surf and salt. About 6 months ago i said "Dad, this is shit, I'm taking it!" and have slowly started the restoration and brought back some of the old "spark" I grew up with. Ive still got a long road ahead but I hope to have the completed resurrection within 12 months. Hope you like my efforts so far. :)
