The car is in excellent condition for its age, the lady that i bought it off had it garaged for 15 years and only started driving it again late last year and would only use it to go to the shops and back. The car only has a tiny bit of rust on the top of the front fenders which i will repair asap. The interior is in overrated condition and everything works like brand new.

The only thing it really needs is a new exhaust because the current one is missing the centre muffler and the rear muffler is rusted.

Future plans are:

New thicker front and rear sway bars.

Proper lower and stiffer springs up front and reset rear leafs.

New ball joints and bushes throughout the whole car.

Possibly a 5 speed gearbox and longer ration diff.

Welded diff.

I would like to take the standard motor out and replace it with a worked 5K and have the original motor rebuilt and blueprinted and also modified to suit unleaded fuel. Then one day restore the car to original condition.

The only molesting on the car is a small hole in the back of the glove box to get the stereo wiring through.

Other than that it is all original.

Thanks mate.

Ill post up some new pics tomorrow when i find my digi cam.

Ive polished the whole car now, chopped the springs and have the white walls on. I also degreased the engine bay to find that it is still the original engine and its red (there was lots of shit on it)

i'm feeling a little guilty about "molesting" my new one. it has 72000 original kms, overrated interior etc. i'm taking the hammer and grinder to the firewall in a few weeks time...

Yeah i saw your thread haha.

I wouldn't bother mate. Do what makes you happy.

Its not like its a Mazda R100 or anything.

Got the Venetian from a place called Auto Blinds but i ordered mine through Rare Spares.

Cost $165

nice pickup mate, don't ruin it too much... and you should get proper springs asap... chopping FTL

As said i haven't ruined anything on the car.

I haven't drilled one hole or damaged anything on it apart from punching a small hole in the back of the glove box to get the Stereo wiring through.

And i only chopped the springs because there is a 2 week wait to get custom lowered springs made up and i'm gonna do all the bushes and fit larger sway bars when i do that.

Thanks for the comments

Daniel
