I just took this photo tonight on the way home from work.

 

The first is the actual shot and the second i've inverted the colours so that you can read it. Someones stuck a sticker over the 'E' ine CARE.

 

Thought it was funny.

 

 

Has anyone seen any other funny road signs??

haha found this on some chicks my space, pretty random

i've seen lots of 'form one lane" turned into "form one planet" and also one of the signs on the way into launceston has a green sticker over the l,a and some of the u to make inceston.

"collaborate and listen" and "hammertime" written on stop signs is pretty cool. am i showing my age?

we had a nirvana street where I use to live and when kurt killed him self they where replacing the sign every few weeks LOL.. and guess what they renamed the street after 5 months... the moral of the story is... want your street renamed , keep stealing the street sign..

 

also on one of the road here in canberra some body has changed a roo warning sign in to a roo skiing.. I would take a photo of it but its on the "packway" which is 100km and I never remember about it until I have passed it by.. I have made a version of it...

 

It's just funny even without any alteration.

 

 

A lot of people think that it's a photochop, but I can say with 100% assurance that it is real (there are two of them actually, one on each of the main ways into Branxton, up the Hunter Valley about 30 minutes from my place)

I just remembered about this "Sign" from when i was on holiday in Darwin earlier this year.

 

It is my favorite, but sadly I don't see any down here. Lolla would love it.

 

I wanted to take it with me.

When i used to live down in victoria many, many, many moons ago in a little country town called Merrigum there was one posted there at the towns limit.

i saw a few of these around byron bay and I was in a hire car... but my wife and 2 year old daugther where in the car.... I maybe silly but not stupid, I do not do anything silly in the car with passangers the only thing that sucks about being considerate is that I have nobody to colarberate my "stories"

i always have a laugh when i see hammertime on a stop sign, and then the song gets stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

I was looking at a sign at the supermarket today and had a tought...

 

Since when is Lemonade & Cola not a Soft Drink??
