Because we keeping bagging out the Commodore V6 and someone wanted to know why, and because there a few people putting this engine in Corollas at the moment - may God have mercy on their souls.

I thought all the GTS R31's were already turbo

no, not the australian ones. They wouldn't allow them turbo here.

"Its 3.0-litre SOHC engine received extractors, a high-flow exhaust, a new camshaft, headwork and an ECU remap to produce a total of 130kW. The brakes were also upgraded to Japanese Turbo-spec and the suspension was thoroughly revised as part of the package. Following this model's considerable success, a Series 2 version of the GTS was released in 1989 with a claimed 140kW under the bonnet; the Series 2 is most easily identified by its red paint, white wheels and updated styling."

f@$king oath it is driveable.

Anyone noticed how you don't see that car anymore? And how Eddy Tassone has a f@$kin insane VY SS ute now? Eddy Tassone wrote his VH off here in Perth, taking a mate out for a joyride in it.

yeah, must have been real drivable then.. it may have been drivable with no boost, but look what happens when it does.

just for interests sake, whats he done with the new ute? a TT gen version of his ol 308?

People write off standard cars too, does that mean they are undrivable?
