Rollaclub Rides

Got a ride you want to show off? This is the place to post them.

  1. Started by big fat paulie,

Hey guys. New here. So i pick up an old rolla wagon from an old bloke last week. Car is pretty clean. He owned it since new. Anyway, plan for the car is to service it, get it running well (its a little rough at idle and splutters now and then under load, thats the reason I came here. To learn how to do fix it) and daily it. Plan after that is to lower it a little and get some nice wheels.

So, I bought another ke10.. This now makes 4 ke1x chassis cars I own currently haha I'm not 100% sure of it's outcome currently but I bought it anyway.. the shell is quite rusty in the front and the rear end has had a lot of crash damage in the rear end and as a result has a lot of bog and misalignment.. I believe I'll use this a donor for my other green sedan.. see what happens!

Now that i've given the old girl a proper clean up i thought id post up a few details. While it is still far from finished i gave it a cut and polish just to see how the original paint (most of it) would look. Basicaly it started out like a dirty ass chalk board and now its back to its original white, with a brilliant shine through it. It took me about 13 hrs to complete from start to finish over a few days with a bit of gin time as well. Next time if i get carried away i might put the clay bar on it but i should really remove the rusted spots first. I used the meguiar's medium cutting compound and a $70 supercheap adjustable orbital buffer, I'm extremel…

Hey everyone. Well was on eBay just yesterday on my lunch break at work seeing if there where any 5k's on there. And cam across my old ke36 from when I was in Canberra. As some may now this is also geoff's old wagon. I bought it off geoff. Then sold it back to geoff. This guy got it from geoff and is now selling it, so I'm buying it back lol. For those that don't know. This car is running a 5k with k40. Has had the rust cut out from the front guards. Standard manifold and exhaust back from there. Right on 95db :rolls: was slammed, with some 16's. Now standard height on s13 stockies. And comes with a set of corolla stockies. Paint on the roof is faded to the shit h…

bad things happen when i get bored, i have a yn85r hilux as my run around to pick up parts and so on and have been driving it a fair bit lately so ive had boost withdrawals from not driving the cressida. so i bought a wrx standard turbo off a mate for $100 and I'm going to do a blow through weber carby set up. i spent today doing half of the job so all i really have to do is make a J pipe for the turbo, exhaust and boost pipe. ive done as much as i can so its still drivable and will try do the rest next weekend. first thing i did was pull the sump off and weld a fitting in for the oil drain then i pulled dissy apart and drilled two holes and put screws in to st…

OK, so I just got this home from Hobart, was my brother's, Mum decided it would be better for it to be used rather than rust away to nothing in their backyard, so she gave it to me...... It's a 1981 G10 Daihatsu Charade, 1.3 liter 3 cylinder 5 speed 4 door hatch, very original, minor rust on passenger door front and rear, sizable dent in rear passenger door due to my brother smacking his fence a short while after buying it, easy enough to fix..... Rev happy little 3 pot seems healthy, nice golden oil, runs smooth enough (assuming I can start it, seems there's a knack I haven't found yet), gearbox has a nice smooth action, and it drives like a dream. Basic ide…

Hi everyone. I thought Id say G'day and show you a pic of my KE70. I purchased this car as a rolling shell (barely) and am doing it up for track work. I have been racing my other toy car a z32 300zx and have decided that its too heavy an too expensive to get to go any faster. I picked up this shell for $100 with the suspension points modified to run s13 coilovers. The plan is to fit a sr20det with crossmember and an R31 lsd diff. (at this point):P Pic doesnt show much but the body deadening has already started to be removed and I picked up the perspex to replace all the side window glass. Here is a mold that I am making for fiberglass and carbon fiber b…
