auto was ok.....bit sluggish off the line but once you were going was very good. got 80kw at all 4 wheels.... so we should get better out of the manual

yeah we have very high compression in all our cylinders. so i didnt think it wold be possible without some sort of internal work being done.

We are looking at putting a samll turbo on our 4age blacktop 20v ...... run around 8 pound of boost. do you think this is safe on a standard engine?

well painters has been put off for a few weeks (even maybe months) as our little gutless Deawoo sold on thursday...spent friday gettting the wagon roadworthy and regoed. she runs like a dream a tiny bit rich but the dyno on monday should fix all. we were trying to take on a 180sx tonight but he was ROFL at us,,,, the wagon is still in dodgy faded red paint and stocko toyota rooted mags so it looks funny as hell. so if you see a dodgy red ae95 wagon scooting round give a toot :lolcry: and ill get sum pics of interrior as it is now done....just gotta get seats steam cleaned and new floor carpet.

Had the same prob with Logan Public Hospital..... was gonna be 2 hours or more before a doctor could see our son......FFS he was just mauled by a dog with blood pissing out his face......we drove str8 to Mater Childrens.....they were fantastic, couldnt careless about paper work...our sons wellbeing was more important which is how it should be.

Limewire ftw :D and for Virus/popup wear i use Lavasoft Adaware 2007.... really easy to use and you do it when it pleases you....also the popup function is awsum... you tell it what sites to allow pop ups from and everything else is blocked (it asks if you want to allow pop ups or not. I'm only a passanger driver but i hate most drivers on the road....scares me. do i even bother getting a liscence with half the dumbwits they have on the road.

Well engine is in and sortta running, still a huge miss, had a rattle found the prob and fixed now......now just need to fix the miss.... ive been slack with the pics...but will get sum shortly.

I would be chasing up the manufacturer about this. 13 months is techincally outside the warranty period but ALL items have an implied warranty and most companies will still look after you on this. If the company wont pay the full repair they are by law required to pay a pro rata of it. Might be a little different if you have tried a handyman on it, but tighten the screws and put some sticky tape on it and it will look like new :D I will give you an example of this. I use to work for motorline volvo (back a few years ago) and a guy came back with a volvo that was 9 years old. Way outside factory warranty, but it needed a new engine because the turbo kept on blowing or some crap. To cut a long story short, he took motorline to court and they had to replace his motor, turbo and fit it all at no charge. See volvo advertises themselves as " volvo, for life " . It imples the vehicle will last you for life. To explain, companies put a warranty on items. This warrany isnt hard and fast 12 months or whatever they state. There is always a certain amount of lee way for claims where they are still responsible for repairs. Look up or talk to Fair Trading about it and they can clue you in a bit more about it.
