  3. Fav all time car was a 1976 TX gemini Coupe. was fun as!! most fun car to drive... L200 Ute :).... Worst car, prolly the 2wd hilux i had for a whole 70 odd hours before i sold it to some other dick....... :)
  4. I got a plan for a different car for the next one :)
  5. meh 427 7.0-litre LS7 V8 big block FTMFW!!!
  6. Do they bolt in with 4 14mm bolts? They look like the mounts the Castor rod attaches too, and the sway bar aswell.
  7. Got both, PM me
  8. Just got one from Zuratikl Thanks for the heads up bud :D Bloody spammers
  9. Woooo, ill see you there, i still say you should have mocked up a sidepipe just for the weekend :D :jamie:
  10. 47 pages... wtf, i just wanted to lol at the first car :D :jamie:
  11. So it did get replaced then? o yay :D
  12. I would have, but Brian wasnt in when i dropped them off, or when i picked them up. Still not low as i wanted, but ohwell.
  13. Serious? learn something everyday :)
  14. Couldn't agree more Mr Dwarf :) :)
  15. I have the following in front TA22 struts Cut 2 coils off the standard springs ='s to a 2" drop. edit (TA22 springs are bloody long, i cut 2 coils out, and i still have them held captive even when car is fully jacked up) Stock shocks, though one is leaking, so i might look into some from pedders. And i used T18 steering arms as they same as the TA22 ones. it should all bolt in. Make sure you got the TA22 brakelines with the struts, as the KE30/55 ones are different length.
  16. Pretty sure the 4 speed in the KE20's are the same as the KE30/55 4 speeds. SO id say its a pretty good chance it will all bolt in. Goodluck buddy
  17. Not really, getting them reset keeps the same spring properties and shit. And up front if you on cheap, Id say go TA22 Celica Struts and Steering arms. 2" lowered springs around the 6kg mark and some decent shocks inserts. If you got money to blow, Maybe go for the XT130 Corona Struts (look for the ones with dual piston calipers) convert struts to coilovers. Camber tops. Sigma LCA's Seriously though, unless its a track car, i prolly wouldn't go coilovers, decent set of shocks and spring in front, and decent shocks in rear with a added leaf in the leaf packs should be plenty. Maybe look into good tyres, and thicker swaybars?
  18. Pity on the rims, they are hot :) Yeah a shed is nice, i like mine, though it needs a light and power haha
  19. It seems to have settled a bit. The Front actually sits a little lower now. the spring wasnt seated properly. And the rear has a dropped a little bit more after a good run. seems its all settled in. looks better, though i wish it was a tad lower in rear
  20. another tassy member, welcome mate. That 86 is looken rough, but i dig those front rims :)
  21. why not put it in? Surely your passenger wants some comfort too? lol
  22. Mine handles ok, but i go shit tyres on rear, and it really needs new front shocks. one of mine is leaking :P But yeah its alot better to drive it hard though corners, but bumps suck. Considering selling it soon anyway... Make way for a Bigger car :hmm:
  23. Front lowered, Ordering new springs and shocks soon, so needed an idea on height. and the TA22 springs are a bit different to the 55 ones. 2 coils cut off and they are still held captive. they are so long standard :hmm: Rear got reset, wanted 2" but it only 1" which sucks :P
  24. yeah i wanted to pass on the lowering blocks, hence why i thought i could get them reset low. Ohwell, it don't look so high now the front is dropped 2" :P
