  1. get a 3k carby, pull it down to every last nut and bolt, soak it overnight in a container of carby cleaner ( i just sprayed each parts with the can while holding it over a container. I then rebuilt it to exact specs it says in the Toyota K motor manual. ran so perfect after that. no hesitation on take off, better responce, and way better fuel economy. did a 350-400 kay trip on about 40 litres. and thats a stock 4k, 4 speed, sat on 100 on the hwy, did a bit of town driving too, and i had me, missus, bub, pram, and other junk in car.
  2. Its your car, not the Internets.. Do what YOU want to do to YOUR car...
  3. +1 for super pro, got them in the front of mine, is tight ;)
  4. i rest my foot on the pedal, works as a good cruise control
  5. pretty sure a 3k head on a 5k drops the compression? Not too sure sorry,
  6. if your looking at making it sound a little better and louder, then by all means do it. If you want best power gains, would be good to chuck some extractors on and a 1 3/4 inch exhaust. would compliment that weber nicely :)
  7. Also for mainly tassy members too.... toyoTAS
  8. Grammar Nazi 101
  9. any vacuum source on the carby will do, generally its the one closest to the bottom of the carby.
  10. at a guess without looking at it 2.5k to 3.5k depending on who buys it
  11. Maybe try a T series diff? just get the leaf spring mounts welded on. Dunno how much stronger that would be, but might be worth looking into if you get diff cheap and you know how to weld
  12. Might find the van is leaf spring rear ben :P
  13. youd be suprised, i pulled some sigma arms out of a 55 and it had stock tie rods, it there where only screwed in about 4-5 turns max... don't think id trust it on that. If your cheap, go get some Tie rod tubes from a RA60 celica , they are about 20mm longer from memory.
  14. Lower control arms from a GH Sigma can be fitted In a KE70/AE71/AE86, They give you around -5 degrees of camber and increase track by 60mm. longer tie rod ends need to be fitted once you have made this modification (apparently RA40 celica ones are the go). taken from the FAQ Balljoint should be same, you need the Press in Balljoint. if you want to be safe, I'm 99% certain the Corolla Balljoint will fit the sigma arm. But yeah, i know of 3 local KE55 that ran Sigma LCA's at one point. just bolt in. Though i remember the Crush Tube in the Bush had to be grinded down so it would fit in the crossmember.
  15. All can use it, 3 4 and 5k. Its a Permsal (spelling) one, part number is EM something :P... so not much help, but your Local Bursons dealer should be able to get you one. $12.50 last time i bought one, that was about 4 weeks ago
  16. 50l at the most id say I managed to get 47L in and it still didnt read full on the gauge, but i had fuel coming out the fuel cap when it got full :P
  17. For the most part, these tractors originally came from the factory with under 150 hp - they produce many times that as competition vehicles. For instance, a Super Farm tractor will put out in the neighborhood of 1,000-1,100 hp at a boost pressure of 55 psi with a single 3-in. turbo. A Pro Stock will produce 1,800 hp-plus with a boost pressure in the 110-120 psi range. A Super Stock with 4 turbochargers and 200 psi-plus boost pressure will top out at around 2,500-2,800 hp. taken from http://www.enginebuildermag.com/Article/21...re_anymore.aspx
