heatshrink ftw!!! the ecu is that old there is like 4 wires man think of it as a electronic weber. put one of those smelly trees in the engine bay, be good n fresh then stop worrying bout engine and spend the $$ on suspension.
-
there was laughter on my part after reading that....hahaha i can't see him breaking the engine, unless it gets more psi, or no oil. had near perfect comp on all cyl, no 3 was 5 psi down i think, bugger all really. josh, if your not gunna use that w5x box for a while i might keep it at my house an start making up an adapter to suit t50 bellhousing, then make a few copies, sound ok?? saves buying bellhousing, had a look at the dellow one, what a piece of shit, also i can get you a t28 if you sell that t25, jus been pullin down a 26 head with a friend, they in nice condition, am keepin one tho! what the f@$k is 'kenages???
-
this is actually a thread about josh's car, not a history test of how much it's been crashed. it's straight now, thats all that matters josh - if he's got that hand controller you should ask to borrow it, see if we can get that cranking enrichment down a little and after start enrichment up a bit, help settle it down when it is started by the way come get your w58, spare blower, other crap that come with the car, and especially the ma61 rims before i put em on my car an rip the sh*t outta them!

the big girl, she lives on!!! haha hope it's treatin you well man next time your out in it givin it a bit of throttle, give it some for me, the new toy is not even close to as much fun as that thing it rains and i still can't have fun! damn!! glad josh bought it tho, it's gone to a good home, post some pics up of it with the superlites, it'll look sick talk soon ed

i'm goen, but in the camira of courage, corolla has split exh manifold after a night of tryin to be a drift king. looken forward to seeing some other tuff corollas out there.
-
i've (attempted) to drift my KE55, an while it's fun, and i haven't spun out/hit anything/broken anything, it's a bit too hair raising, especially in an old rolla!
-
what is your drift car? KE20?? if so your now my hero
-
currently has fc rx7 top mount, but have 600 by 300 by 50 to go in, just haven't finished piping. pm me with how much of a 'cash adjustment' your lookin for. keep up the good work champ. ed

just saw a pic of your pulleys, one of which had nevo written on it...how much more psi were you spinning out of you sc12??? nice work on the turbo conversion...as for that sensor that came off the inlet of the gze, but won't fit anywhere on the ge inlet...the gze used to switch on the supercharger but thottle position right..?? well they did in the aw11, you gave it a certain amount of throttle and a supercharger light came on, viola, you had psi...i'm thinkin maybe it's the switch for that...not 100percent sure tho...
-
lets say this thing has 400kw at the engine, as a conservative guess. that means every 1 kw is pushing 1.9 kg of car. your now my hero, but know this my friend ... your f@$king crazy.
-
that plate jammed between crownwheel an pinion??? haha the mental image of what ensued after this happened is quite funny!!! my diff is locked as well and i haven't broken an axle yet, an it's a daily driver, i still think you have the same issues with open centre diffs, think of how quick your sun gears are hookin about when one wheel is spinning and one has traction, thats why when the gears mesh they go everywhere, least with a weldy you can drive it still...
-
well i was impressed, went over to the celsior but no one was there an then i spent the rest of my time workin on the green s13, thought the turn out was good an really the driving wasn't that bad either. you sorta go to a drift event expecting to see some spins...
-
that is sooooo cool!!
-
the best way i've come across so far is to take the top leaf with the eyelet, get it flipped over (so eyelet faces opposite way to before, which would be down) then get that one reset, that gives a couple of inches, and doesn't give you bad bad axle tramp like most of the other ways, an anyone with half a clue will figure out the tools they require as they set off into the job, i'm sure there are people that have pulled leaf packs apart with their teeth...
-
mine's still outta rego an in a few bits so i'll be sittin this one out...unless leigh will let me ride shotgun (ed gets on his knees an begs an pleads)
-
now i can't bring the corolla cos it runs outta rego on thurs. bites... will still be out takin pics tho, should be a good thing.
-
spotted...sat night i saw the yellow ke70 wagon up outside a party in west launie, i give the owner my condolences, as i heard someone had just backed into it. sucks...
-
yeah, but the fact it snapped off a blower shaft made me think that it creates a fair bit of stress on the shaft so putting it on a different way to the normal splined way would be the go. why is that chief??
-
i'll come, but i'm pit crew for my old car (black vh commo with the stonehouse brake an clutch sticker on the back), and gotta help out my mate with the grey series 5 RX7, so no racey racey for me.
-
yeh the ol girl is still kickin along well, so far haven't had much time to do stuff to it, popped the sun gears so now it's got a weldy (might as well use that diff) jus got a exhaust manifold plate and some steam pipe bends from northern mufflers, have started making a manifold for her, got an ol t25 to put on, but it's gunna take a while yet. can't wait to see yours finished, it will be horny...
-
i'm in love with the white KE70 with the minilites, they jus don't come much tuffer...
-
sorry i couldn't make it, gf's car shat the water pump, so i had to put a new one on, then when i did she'd already gotten it too hot and blew the gasket, which then made the old girl hydraulic. shoulda just left the *@#$ing thing alone and come down.
-
thanks ol dog but already got bigger fmic for the old bus, jus gotta get round to doin the piping for it. good luck with the sale tho an i hope your rolla is comin along well.
