Heya, I'm getting all mushy and girly... I wanted to thank everyone from RollaClub who had input into ToyoShow, organising banners, eskies, putting up (twice after it blew over) and taking down the marquee and especially Dale and Clint who pitched in and helped when I had a minor melt down when I thought the judges were coming (at nine bloody thirty!!) and I wasn't ready and I'd also like to apologise for not spending more time with the gang (I was freaked out this year) you guys ROCK! :bash: Also, Jarad for giving me the piccy which was then made into the "vixen" logo and the members of Rollaclub who through their knowledge and support helped me make the most of my ride, and letting me represent rollaclub.com and while I'm at it....Steve, Heather, Gabe, Liam and Tom (my support team this year). oh and world peace!!! ;) so back to usual programming..... Lesley :y:

I just bought some Isotta sports seats and because I don't have the experience or the equipment, I had to find someone who could do it for me, apparently you can't just bolt them on, you have to make up new rails and everything else, so I bit the bullet and am paying them $500 to do it for me (all engineered and everything). Lesley :)

well I have the most embarrasing accident ever...1st rollaclub cruise, only female there, had my car for about 3 weeks and I did this: Oh, the shame..... I reversed into a tree, I seriously didn't see it...although I have no idea how, it was a pretty big tree....

Umm I'd like to add my 2 cents worth please... Re: the post in question - I think it was well worded, polite and there was even a thanks in there (and it wasn't in L33T/mobile phone speak) AND in his avitar area did show his location. the response in my opinion WAS harsh, I know if it were me (being the patient, perfect person I am) would think, WOW he must be having a bad day! because it was snappish abrupt and rude (oh and uncalled for). he was looking to buy, so I don't see how having a post code would help, really, or a location for that matter, if you wanted something badly enough, I'm sure you'd think about postage if you got any bites. the feeling I got from that message was "f@$k off and stop bothering me". Now I understand that moderating is a time consuming job, that we all probably take for granted, and the only reason "you" (read moderators) hear from "us" (the members) is when something doesn't go right. Hence why there has been feedback on this particular incident. Hasn't anyone here heard of constructive criticism?? An alternative way this could have been handled? A PM to the member: Hey, you don't have your location in this post <linky>, and you posted your WTB 7 times (you just have to be a bit more patient with the server, I've deleted 6 of them) so could you please fix up your ad? If it's not done in 24 hours, I'm afraid I'll have to lock it/delete it. I know I'd appreciate not looking like a complete tool on the forum (again!) Lesley
