Okay guys. Here's another cruise I'm planning. As the topic title says, its on April Fools Day. As we have 15 or so days till the cruise we have plenty of time to fine tune the details. So... Starting at Aspley Pick'n'Pay for the Nothsiders at 10:00 O'clock. Then next stop is at Springwood Crazy Clarks for the Southsiders at 10:45 O'clock. Third pick up point is at McDonald's on Bryants Road for the guys that live further south at 11:00 O'clock. From there its to Beenleigh-Redland Bay Road. If we take that one road all the way its will take us to Victoria Point, or further to Cleveland. If we turn off on Benfer Rd we at a nice park where the Ferry leaves for Coochiemudlo Island. There is a take-away shop there where we can eat. Or if we continue onto Cleveland we can Stop somewhere in Cleveland at one of their many Take-Away shops. If not there there is a Massive car park at Cleveland Point where the old Light House is. Let us know what you would prefer. I'll create a map in a few days. I've had an idea for a cruise. All the northsiders meet at Aspley as usual, then travel to Springwood, then to Loganholme as the final pickup spot (if theres anyone from further sout traveling up). From there head out way to Cleveland gong up and down the windy roads where at the end we will stop at a take away shop. We could end up at Victoria Point or Cleveland Point instead. What does everyone think??

I just saw that too. I think its dumb.

I ask cause i've already cut the brake lines off the Hardtop. :D It would be easier to replace i thinks. I couldn't unscrew them so i rang my mechanic beforehand and he told me if i kept the lines he would be able to reconstruct them. Jon.

Can the normal metal brake lines be swapped over?? Or is it just the rubber ones??

I was going to have a custom console made up ages ago. I wanted something that i could put my drinks in. I started looking around in other toyotas to see what would fit best while at the wreckers. I almost got a console out of a corona. Could have been sweet but wasn't in the best condition. The KE70's was next best. Since then i've found other things from the KE70's that fit nicely. Plus as Andrew (Love_KE70) says, They hold Macca's XL cups.

Shocking door handles would be cool. ;) Alarms with rolling frequencies and black wiring are good too.

FINE. Lets organise something. Due to my crappy schedual, i suggest April 1st. Its the first weekend day i have off for the next month. I can organise something if we all like?? I felt that the last cruise went quite well. Any suggestions where anyone would like to cruise to?? Would be nice if the cruise has some sceanery along the cruise (winding roads, little amounts of traffic lights) and the end location is close to food like a takeaway shop or somewhere where we all can grab a bite to eat. It is, thats the 81 square headlight version. Also would have had seats in green?? that had removable headrests.

I got myself an M80S (Mongoose 80 Series). I got it with central locking on all four doors and glad i did. Someone tried to steal my car the week after i had it put in, I was at work and heard the alarm go off, as i park infront of our only carpark camera i could see a guy running from my car. This saved me alot of money and bus trips ;). I'm glad i got it and will do the same for my hardtop. For such an old car my opinion is to spend as much as you like depending on how serious you are about the car. I bought the best one from that brand which has a three point immobiliser and can get upgrades. I myself don't feel that full comp insurance is worth the money when the payout wouldn't be much. The only thing you need is just third party fire and theft. In the event of an accident, if your at fault, they will pay for the others car and you just have to pay for your own.

Seems the KE70 Handbrake console idea is getting around. ;) DR1FT, what are you talking about dash?? The dashes are the same in whether you have air con or not. But if you are wanting to get rid of it i know of a good home it can go to... (HINT...My coupe)

I like the look of the 1972 model one. It has more appealing features, better grille, all the badging and most of all... its cheaper.

they were announcing some competition later on in the day and they said something about community radio. So there must be several differant shows at set times.

I tuned it in for the first time this moning. Found it odd. What hours do they play "GOOD" music. When i tuned in it was like classical or some shit.

I hate that. Like there are two lanes at the traffic lights and you watch all the cars line up behind the car beside you, it makes you think that they think your car is old and slow. GRRR. I almost inquired about that in a for sale thread last night. Someone posted "Most Parts Available". My Hardtop would look good with a Flux Capacitor. :P
