Cops would be like "we have better things to do than respond to domestic disputes" Cops have a really bad response time anyway and wouldn't wanna use up a undercover cop car for that when they could be making money from some car enthusiasts.

So does it sit inside the door?? Or on the outside?? From the photo it looks to be on the outside. How would you fit your door trims??

I got mine at Pedders. Would have liked it lower but they told me it was their duty of car to leave me with a safe car and that they believed it'd be unsafe going lower. But i would recommend them, they did a great job. Car runs alot smoother now. :P

She's coming along quite nicely mate. Do you think that it is possible to have a set of driving lights customised to fit the apron?? I'd be looking at getting a set made up for the 30 and or 55.

If your water meters have a shut off valve at the edge of your propperty like we do you could shut off their water. While your at it you could take all their fuses, so they can't turn it back on till they replace all the fuses. Stick a pack of prawns in the sun for a few days and pour the water from them down the vents infront of the winsheild of their cars?? I was evil in my earlier years.

My KE30 has KE55 Square headlight seats, shelf under dash, white neon type lights under dash, cd player, deflecting rear view mirror, KE70 handbrake console, KE70 boot release, venetians on the back window, retrimmed dash in black (Original colour)and keeping the colour of the seats, door trims and carpets original. I plan on someday installing my a/c, doing my boot up with a sound system and maybe power windows.

My KE30's 3K had done 231 133 7 when i took if from my brother. Since then after winding it back for the reco'd 4K its done 20 279 6. The KE55's 4K has done 217 019 1. It'll have a 5K in it soon enough. :P

KE70's have HI-Cam on the front qtr panel while AE71's have 1.6. Don't be confused with the slanty front cause the late KE70's had the slanted front too.

Yeah, fifth gear would be good. I may even be able to hear the radio at 100 on the highway.

For my project car, basically what i have on Lolla and all that.

As much as that may be, sadly they made the wheels big so that you could see all the dials. I've just removed my sports wheel and replaced it with the original. I'd stick it on my 30. Thats if i couldn't find any other wheel from my cars era. Would have the TE37 Levin had a better wheel?? Jon.

Does anyone know if the KE55 and the KE70 are the same size?? Cause to me it seems that the only thing that changed through the models are cosmetic like the outer shell. The doors are the same, i assume that the seats are the same, same engine (although the bay has been re-aranged). Does anyone agree??
