  1. any pics of the finished product? I have to do the exact same thing. What size jets are you running?

  3. If you actually mean why the rb20de over the sr20de it's because it's a 6 cylinder and it makes much more tourque, is much cooler and sounds much more insane
  4. Been thinking today about a high comp, big cammed, individual throttle (or carbied) rb20de in a ke20.. I understand that with the weight of a ke20 being 760kg they can have up to a 2.3L engine in N/A form (in nsw), does this mean that I could shoehorn the straight six in there?? could possibly even re-stamp (shhhh) an rb30 block with rb20de number and use a 26 head for ultimate awesomeness Just a thought as I personally think it would be insane.

  6. I'd go for a soft, light pastel kind of yellow, something not so bright and in your face as canary..

Well plans have changed a little for now and the ca will be put on the back burner for a bit as I'm buying a house, travelling etc at the moment so I'm going to stick with a hot little K engine to keep costs down for now.. Only real updates are that I have got the new diff in along with the short stroke shocks and lowering blocks, I'm halfway through the manual conversion and I got some new 3" peep mirrors, I'd like opinions on these :) Next will be to pull the front end apart again to fit the short stroke shocks, custom lowered springs and all new joints, pitman arms, bushes etc. Once that is done I'll rego her and drive it while I build the 5k in my shed. Oh yeah, I have new carpet coming and possibly a 6 point bolt in cage. Also picked up a set of twin solex 40s for the bad boy so she'll be running trumpets. Here are a few pics. (I know there's a dint in the rear bumper, I have a VGC one sitting here waiting to go on)

  9. Hey stu, it already has restrictors in the block and yeah I'll be using mls gasket, arp head studs and rod bolts so she should hold together. Yeah I'll look at a 4 point cage with taxi bar and side intrusion bars as well for a bit of safety and chassis rigidry brad
  10. cool, we'll see how it goes.. Just picked up an Eboost2 with optional shiftlights.
  11. The turbo is interal gate, I'll run it and see how it handles 30psi and if I have boost issues I'll go to an external setup
  12. Merchant seaman/crane operator. Travel all around and usually do 5 weeks on 5 week off roster.

  14. shut up man. If you want to winge about wrecking a ke20 go look at my thread haha. Mines a overrated one owner with every single service reciept since brand new and it's getting chopped the f@$k up. Turbo the shit out of it and enjoy man :)

  18. Wpn36 do u know if a vl turbo jatco bolts up to a ca18? Like can you just swap the bell housings over

  20. Edit, Just got myself a shiny new microtech lt10s with 4x ignition box and individual coils.
