  1. Yeah, I agree. I only got a KE70 coz my mate talked me into it, now I'm in love with KE35 Coupes. I NEED ONE! :P
  2. I haven't even fitted my 5 speed yet, if I sell the KE70 I plan to keep the KE70 5 speed for the Coupe. Thanks anyways fellas!:)
  3. Well that sucks donkey balls! I hope you get it back man, same thing happened to my mate. Cops found it not far the next day stripped. He found the guys who did it after a month of searching and got all his shit back. Hopefully you don't have that problem. All the best!
  4. SO, I was informed today that someone wanted to buy my Corolla. At first I didn't like this idea, but now, I'm liking it kinda. I badly want a ke35 Coupe, if I sell my Ksev, I can buy my Ke35 and chuck my whole drive train in. I need suggestions on this one... IS THIS WORTH SELLING? WITHOUT my blower kit, I can chuck a blower in, but no pipes. I'd keep my KE70 5 speed too so I can cut the transmission tunnel and move the shifter back. I DUNNO, BLEH! Cheers, Jake.
  5. I KNOW THIS IS LATE! MY BAD! I used "Pack and Send" I think. cost me about 300-350 to get it door to door.

    I lol'd. I LOVE THIS FREAKING MONSTER!
  7. Ok, so, I've decided to stop dicking around with the 4k. I'm getting the carby jetted on Tuesday and I'm FINALLY taking the 5k in to get the rebuild and working on it's way. Also getting my t25 turbo this weekend, another piece to the puzzle that is TWINcharge. Input, questions, etc always welcome. :) Cheers, Jake.
  8. Well, I'm running an AMR500 supercharger at the moment, with plans to add a t25 into the mix. If that helps? Cheers, Jake.
  9. Thanks guys. I knew I['d have to retard the timing but I'm not too keen on swapping the head for a 4k head, can't I just get the compression of the 5k head altered? Cheers, Jake.
  10. Hey guys, Just wondering how much boost/psi a stock standard 5k could take? I'm planning on doing a twincharge setup at the moment... Cheers, Jake.
  11. Sweet as man. Looks clean as hell!
  12. Sounds sweet as man. Only thing to compare is mines a 4k and kinda runs :P I'm getting really keen to get my 5k rebuilt and fitted. Where abouts you work? I was tearing up Ballarat Rd last Saturday, till it started failing HARD! :P
  13. Yeah she's alright until you try to roll rear gaurds that are bogged to hell :P
  14. Yeah mate, My old man is the manager there.:) So I get to use the workshop.
  15. Can you take a photo of the blower? I've supercharged my 4k temporarily till I get my 5k rebuilt and worked.
  16. Hook me up with 2 RC Logos in black PLZ!
  17. I had something similar in my 1977 Holden HZ. It's probably just your brakes being OVER adjusted, for memory it's an easy fix, take the back right hand drum off and there's a cog-like wheel in there you can adjust with a flathead screwdriver. You're best off asking your local mechanic about it. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION AND I'M NOT A MECHANIC :D
  18. Went in for a short period to tinker with it today. My mechanic must have been having a really shit day, he was going off his nut for no reason whatsoever, but that's not important. I let it run for about 10 minutes or so, walked away let it idle for a bit. When I came back there was some condensation at the bottom of the carby on the pipe, or so I thought! It was fuel! MORE problems. I'm trying to get it taken to the carby joint ASAP. Going to get it rebuilt again and bigger jets. Until then I have nothing important to mention apart from being very tempted to buy a KE35 Coupe and putting my drive train in that instead :P Cheers, Jake.
  19. Man they look sweet as hell, even with the red!
  20. I was gonna take it to him today but I helped my missus move houses and he was closed by the time I was done, so he's gonna see it on Monday. I was cruising with my mechanic, I mean flying, after he tuned it was going great. Then we went again 2 minutes later and it failed hard he reckons because I'm running the weber off a supercharger it needs bigger jets. So that's the next plan after that I'm out of ideas.
  21. I don't know she's running alright at the moment and boy can you feel the charger kicking in.
  22. So today was kinda painful, I had the carby setup checked out by a carby specialist. He claimed that the carby wasn't faced the right way, which he suggested may fix it before he would jet it. So here I was off to have my charger to carby pipe modded so that the carby may face the right way. I hit up an exhaust specialist to have the carby mount refitted, the right way. Whilst I waited a painstakingly long 3hrs for a 20 minute job, I decided to mod some of my rub prone guards. That took all of 10-20 minutes. Then I decided to fit my thermo fan. Another 30 mins wasted. 3 hrs later I went to get my part back... Which he did a 180 on making it the EXACT same way... Oh the pain! so I waited 30 mins for him to redo it the way I wanted. Took the part back to the workshop only to realise it was off slightly but there was no way I was going back AGAIN! I fitted it all and I still have the same problem. I'm starting to think my engine may be buggered. I struggled to get it home due to how rich it was running and how much fuel was being pumped into the carby. It's been yet another painful day, I think I need a break from all this bad luck and failure. Chhwrs Jake.
  23. So today's plan was to get the guards rolled so that the car was driveable. Easy task? Wrong! The rear guards were bogged to hell, but it HAD to be done. Unfortunately the guards got messed up, so now I'm looking at getting some panel beating in the very near future. All these problems aside the car is driveable just don't look at my rear arches! :P They're held together with silicon at the moment. Hopefully tomorrow I can get the throttle lag looked at and/or the carby. It's been an emotional day but my baby is home! If you guys know any good rust panel beaters let me know! Cheers, Jake.
