Just got in from changing a Intake/Exhaust Gasket 12:23am Commitment? :laff: Learnt a lot. Like loosening the U bracket off the exhaust/Gearbox to get leverage , rather then taken the exhaust mani off the exhaust with them 3 bolts! I had 2 Huge leaks on my outer Exhaust Ports :bash:

Yea was in 1 of them bolt holes under the plastic strip that you step over to get into the car. Is there and way I can test the unit? Black cable on black terminal Yellow cable on red terminal ? Cheers

So yea, didn't go to plan . Had the yellow wired up to the battery Black to earth And red to accessories Turned the car on nothing! so looked everything over , check the earth noticed that wasn't a good ground so wiggled it deeper into its hole and pofhttt smoke started coming out the Aux hole on the face :( . Checked the little 10 amp fuse at the the back of the unit and it was not blown. Haven't tried anything since. I think the unit is FOOOOOCKed

Ok so going to start rewiring this in a couple of minutes , wanted to know if I can run the yellow cable from the head unit to the Power lead thats coming from the battery to the amp? I'll just split it. then run the red ( accessories ) to the Ciggy Red. and black just to the earth. Cheers

^^ Yea agredd, easy Process Just play around with the postition of them on the fenders and make sure you don't have blind spots that can hide a Road Train. When ebaying fender mirrors don't limit your search to " KE70 Fender mirrors " because you will only be looking at them cheap plastic one's, just search "fender mirrors". On my Car I've got some from a Saab.

Hey Mate With everyone chasing these engines especially the 5k I would personally start looking for a forklift or the Van's they came in. You never know you might be reward with a K to W bellhousing.
