No problems :D the box is probably no stronger than a fresh box off of the factory floor, it all depends on what was replaced and what wasnt

by strengthened you mean what exactly? oh and yes the gearboxes are interchangeable between all A-series motors

Cheers mate, the seca wasnt my first choice of sx, i would have preferred a hatch, but in the end the call of the 4age won me over and the seca shape has grown on me the past couple of years, actually I'm 3 days off of officially owning this car for 2 years :P Plus the bonus is that i have used all genuine parts(except the clear lenses/wheels) to create what it currently looks like the clear lenses i got from a group buy on twincam.org. But if you want to buy a set there is a member from south africa by the name of Hybrid who can get you a set. Fail on the name change ryan same and the new vegimite name is up for grabs again :rock: which reminds me my evil twin no plates are still getting around, and i been blamed for snubbing work colleagues when it wasnt me :wub: so i need to find this other car and park along side and take some happy snaps to prove i have an evil twin eh we'll see how quickly this gets to paint as i have a list of a few things that need to altered before/while its being painted. which includes the removal of a few non essential things :y: Edit: if i get a chance to toss a bucket(or 2) of water over the car in the next couple of days, i'll take some pics of the new lenses

ok i havent been online for a day or so due to work commitments. but reading this thread i have seen atleast one member threaten vigilante style revenge on another persons car(whether they are a member or not) is Not cool at all its does not matter if the person is tosser and can't drive a greasy stick up a monkeys arse even if it bent over for them. these types of incidents ie them almost taking a member out with a u-turn should have been reported to the police. now as philbey has already stated above take the whinging to WGMG thread. now anymore whinging on this said corolla and its owner here will be removed as it not the place for it cheers mystik

that is a awesome price considering the condition you say its in :P if your looking for a slightly different look on the front you can change the grill(which is fugly imho) and bonnet to those from an ae9x seca :) as they share quite a few of the front panels :cool:

there have been some of those imported to aust now, but still rare a rocking horse shit nope, because all that is changing is the motor, not the g/box and associated drive line :P to get rid of the red stripe out of the bar it will leave a gap in the front bar which can potentially look worse or change it for a chrome stripe which i think are still available from toyota, and to get rid of it from the side protectors all i did was colour coded the protectors them, or the other way is to remove the protectors all together. not really a great deal of choices but if you come up with another way i would love to hear about it

very clean example indeed :cool: levin grill wont fit :) different style front again edit: closest style would be from an ae9x sprinter gt sedan, but then i think you have to change the lights that have built in foggies

the 3s require at lot more fabrication work to even think about bolting the motor in, but in saying that it has been done quite successfully in the past, particularly with the 3sgte into both the ae82 and ae92 chassis. i would say for easy of swap and for it being cheaper on the hip pocket i would go with the 4age, but then again it all personal choice. and are you sure this is a 4afe as all the early cs sedans i have come across have been 4afc, if so it will require a little more work when doing the conversion :P

Hans the GTI never had a front lip from the factory(atleast it didnt here in aust) only the sx(series 1) had the lip, gti went with the generic Series 2 front bar ;) anyways looking good bud, not so sure on the mesh in the bar, but so long as your happy :P

Cheers mate, the front bar i got from city dismantlers, the front bar is slightly different now as i have clear indicator lenses as well. if you talking bout my grill its isnt an FXGT grill(wouldnt fit as the FXGT is hatchback :jamie:) but yeah its a sprinter grill, it basically the same as a series 1 grill only that its unpainted and has sprinter instead of toyota on it :)

Or GT4 brakes like the MR2 guys use, pretty sure you need a minimum of a 16inch wheel then :dance: and for the rears you can use the ae101 rears which will give you a 266mm rear disc :cool:
