  1. look i even found a sample for you |blink|
  2. when i converted the brakes on my CS hatch i used the original brake master that was in my hatch |blink|, 2 years on and it still braking just as good as the day i finished
  3. the question i pose to you is why do you want to upgrade the brakes? is it because you are going to do an engine conversion later on down the track? also the guides on both twincam, rollaclub and toymods are pretty comprehensive and go into quite some detail bout your options when upgrading the ae9x brakes.
  4. do a search on Twincam.org
  5. i agree you there irokin. Now there is one point i would like to point out to some people, and its is about world renown car designers/builders, who actually cut springs to get the right stance on their creations, while these people know about cutting springs they still do because they want the right look. Now the average joe/jane that sees these things on television and say well its he does it must be the right thing to do and they go copy. Now the one thing most people don't realise is that these cars have the springs replaced once these cars have finished their "show duties" so the owners can actually enjoy the car in a safe manner.
  6. don't think so :jamie:
  7. To be honest its actually neither colour in real life, photos actually don't do lesleys car justice :jamie:
  8. unless he ment sr20, but why would you bother when there have been a few AE9x corollas, into 13's/14's down the 1/4 that are daily driven, and some of those were really close to cracking 200kw at the wheels. its amazing what people have been able to achieve with the 1.6 4age/4agze/4agte motors, and 1.8 7age/7agte motors :jamie:
  9. first one raven posted, very nice indeed, and btw raven excellent photo work second one raven posted, i much prefer this as it being more true to life
  10. way better imo :jamie: and more life like :D
  11. obviously you don't know a decent counter lunch then, because the Victor hotel is awesome with its counter lunches. anyways posted in the other thread aswell but discuss it here
  12. Cleaned :jamie: now, for those who are coming from the north like myself, i figured we can meet up and take a leisurely drive down to the southern meet point as a group. my suggestion was to meet and 1 or 2 places just depends on how north some people are. Bunnings Parafield, around 11:30am to leave at 12pm,(plenty of time just incase) and/or (will depend) Bunnings MileEnd, get there around 12:30, picking up those who are there if any and leaving straight away.
  13. the do just a mean shnitty in general :jamie:
  14. i would forget the rb20, wont fit no matter what you do, considering its a straight 6 :jamie: plus do a little more research into the AE9X chassis my suggestion would be to use a Toyota motor, either a 4age, 4agze(factory supercharged), 4agte(same as the 4agze, just using a turbo instead of the s/c), or if want you slightly more displacement, i suggest a hybrid 7age(4age head, 7afe block), or 7agte (4age head, 7afe block, turbo)
  15. i agree it does seem to very orange in colour :jamie:
  16. we will be finished when we finish, however long it takes :jamie:
  17. 18's make the car look like a rollerskate IMHO, and will probably give you a pretty crap ride in the sense of comfort and handling, i recommend 17's at the largest, mainly due to ride comfort and handling. But the key to the rims suiting and fitting the ae9X hatch/sedan/seca etc is offset. but in reality its up to you what size rims you put on your car. i will suggest it here, just in case one of the mods see this. that this thread be moved to the AEXX discussion subforum.
  18. those mag rims factory, and they came on the RV, Ultimate/Ultimata, and s2 Seca Sx. try these place here in Adelaide, also come and say hello in the SA section of the forums. 19. its almost 5 months away, so theres a bit of time :jamie:
  20. ive already got it covered :) just waiting on the the new thread before i post it.
  21. didnt know her, as in you do know her now? :bash: or is she still just some random that posed on your car and you snapped pics :)
  22. t4s or rollaclub(if either goes) lesley?
  23. douggeh south road is a bitch of a road to travel southwards at the best of times, i recommend to stay away from there as much as possible. Edit: just looking at the expressway times and it shut for the meet up time :) atleast the northies will have the expressway on the way home :bash:
  24. :bash: myles you missed the original meet point from where the cruise starts for the southern people, one would assume all those who are going from the north will arrange a place to meet first then head on down to Colonnades. so i wouldnt be trying to follow someone just yet. so just chill a little until the proper cruise route is posted in a new thread :no2: :)
  25. its not that people really wanted to go, i think it more of a fact of you not listening and taking heed of the advice given to you by other members.
