my bad wrong one, OKE75 is green with steelies, but is a KE30 two door with a black bonnet and boot, and a tow ball seems to be more two doors popping up of late
  2. WGMG - Jobseekers that come to my desk and eat all my mentos lollies, refer them for a job and don't turn up, lazy punks Snapkick to the head for them
  3. yes dave you are correct, force of habit for reference haha they go alright too, shame they don't make alloy blocks of that size and allow a stamp with the 1J code on it
  4. For the gearbox to clear the tunnel depends on how you mount the motor, if you mount to the Corolla crossmember might be a bit high, if you get an aluminium crossmember and lug it to the chassis rails with the 12A front timing cover bring it down a bit might be a good angle to clear, there is a shop in VIC that makes these and are engineered at a great price, Leroy is his name, and has that gold gemini with the 350ci in it some food for thought?
  5. haha I'm good thanks, had to wear my jumper to cover it up, be a bit bias with ya FPV socks?
  6. Irony - Wearing a Maroons Jersey but driving a Blue car??? bahaha

OKE75 on the plates and there is another Blue KE30 two door with the front mount hanging where the beaver panel was, don't get my car mixed up Doug, mine has scaffolding in it, haha
  9. The thought of a magnet on the outside trying to track the ball bearing has made my stomach churn *shivers :hmm:
  10. It would be a torquey motor, but for the effort of getting it in there stick to a 4 cylinder, there is a gemini getting around QLD with this motor in it, and is rather quick and legal you might be able to get away with a 1.5J motor, given the previous weight and engine size, depepending how you go about it
  11. Sounds like you could even go the 1G-GTE motor, then your in 2L territory and there is a plethora of engines in that size
  12. WGMG - That one dang fly that buzzes around in the car with you, so i chase after it and it goes into the back and i can't get it, stoopid roll cage and harnesses, and two door cars, fixed seats bah
  13. Those GT Pump 10.8 Turbos with the Plazmamann hot pipes work wonders, even the standard ECU flashed with EVOscan/ECUflash get some much tuning out of them takes nifty jappas to design the ECU, and a kiwi guy to crack it haha nice work tho, i wonder if you will twitch for the APC Banshee motor (2.4L) haha
  14. well I did power on past this morning, stoopid thing is too light it don't leave any marks on the road too dangerous in the wet last night, and i was injured from sports also

  19. but there is no cold wind that comes with the cool breeze, thats whats getting me atm, where do you live, i don't think your username is the street by chance?
  20. These motors make some really good power, just a bugger it gets soaked up in the drive line before it gets to the wheels, if you want to be different, put a R1, Hayabusa or even a Ducatti 1500cc motor in ya rolla, make a frame in the engine bay and drop that bad boi in
  21. if anything like the start of the years event, I doubt it Brad Prove me wrong tho, haha
  22. Owning a street legal track KE30 two door, IMO is not the ideal platform for a drift car, I'm not saying I'm the best driver, but I have had my fair share of hairy moments in the car, and hanging it out for prolonged periods the car does not feel suited, mine is safe to do so and is quite stiff, I beleive the car is too small and the geometry is not ideal, not taking away anything that other people have done previously in this post, heaps of power and stiff suspension, and a smart approach anythings possible mate 5K motor and welded diff will be a great start, and do it legally, trial and error mate my input
  23. Matty lives out at Woodford and if this cruise goes ahead on Sunday, I'm sure the RC boys could collect it
  24. Well this seems to be going nowhere haha Harrys it is, see some of you there
