I don't know if this might be any motivation for you, but to fit the engine and gearbox (assuming you have most ancilleries) in alone yourself with the right tools or friends, can cost you about $200 $150 for Cortina 250 crossflow engine mounts $50 or so for the tunnel section from the 200SX/Silvia You can use the Silvia mounts to fit on the KE crossmember, just have to cut the block mounts to the desired angles, trim off the rolla gear box mounts and fab on the silvia to the rolla underbody and use the SR box crossmember Like i said this engine and box alone, i mean once you got it in there, you will twitch your fingers and want to get into it more I'm sure ill get critiscized for this info, but I can tell you i have done this, and not just a Corolla also, there are many variations and this is one, being patient is one key factor when attempting this yourself/home

I got pulled over for my stereo being loud in my rolla yet i don't even have a stereo in my car, popped the boot fuel system and battery, had a look in the back, other than my roll cage and harnesses, not much in their, open my glove box which i don't have one (weight) and there was my ECU, haha bit perplexed he was otherwise i have yet to be pulled over in my car, driven past traffic inspectors many a times, they be hating I'm going the other way tho, haha only thing is my atmo BOV otherwise she is all legal

not sure sorry, ill find out he could not get the thing out of the hole, we replaced the turbo gasket and brakes the other night, so he might have been slipping on the brakes perhaps, car is very strong however

thats interesting, Daniel took his cressida down tonight and only got a flat 11 he tells me that 1/2J combo is not doing something right, haha was not able to get out of the hole, he might need some tips from you, haha good work mate

I use an exedy drift/drag clutch, no dramas is sticky when cold, clutch pedal is soft, and handles 300 plus hp quite well car is designed for hill climbs and sprints, but has not got there yet, haha

This is an interesting thread, 20/25/26/30 engines I have been looking at dropping the SR and going an RB26 as my car is already engineered, but does not specify the engine on the plate or QLD Transport certificate, change the motor and get a roadworthy done, sounds simple enough but something does not add up, hmmmm I went for a drive in a 1.5J (1/2J combo) and could come back to the toyo motor *edit - the F20 engine spins the opposite way which was discussed in another thread

Interesting that one, I had to mod my firewall on mine, I assumed would be the same, ill keep that in mind
