  1. thats why i got plates to reflect that, but I'm still being called a Datsun, ffs, haha
  2. Good call mate, ill keep that in mind when i approach these situations, making me a bit nervous to be honest, haha ill get some practice and track time in
  3. no relation to the above, but nearly everytime i go to lakeside a car is majorly damaged and althought the drivers walk away shaken up, i cringe at some of the cars written off, they come down the last turn to the straight and carry too much speed, I'm wanting to get mine out there soon, I'm hoping I'm not another notch on that barrier
  4. bro thats where i live so yes, make sure the canes are not playin in JObuuuurrrh tho, haha I'm down for BBQ i got 5L of watties tomato sauce also
  5. edit
  6. dang it, back to the maccas fries boxes then, bahaha
  7. make sure you have your shirt on doug, haha getting the daily paper, haha
  8. WGMG - The bass guitar from Seinfeld, perhaps cause i can't change the channel
  9. Great idea Trev, I support this notion
  10. Nice fit, looks to be enough clearance for right hand drive cars
  11. I would agree the F20 and gear would be a good starting point, and highest reving NA 2L motor VTEC kick is a nifty piece of gear and although does not come on strong, good poke and handy on fuel, slap a turbo and a VTEC controller and watch the wonders come together
  12. well that sucks, and I did not know they brought in hybid cars for the rental companies in the NT, the Europcar in Alice Springs still has all the luxury models, for what reason i don't know why as they all get red dust on them surprise he did not take it back and swap it, or he might not know how to select the park gear, tricky little shifters
  13. that is odd, I'm a homeowner and i get approvals for loans and credit cards all the time, haha
  14. WGMG - New members to forums asking questions about putting some bulls&%t engine in their car, yet not knowing a thing about what they are doing, seen in a mag, or at a car show and gotta get that done, not that I'm stipulating any particular forums, but people don't need to be spoon fed
  15. That is really weird, if its engineered and import stamped I would assume they would accept it, why wasnt the 350Z ADM? wouldnt that have been cheaper? When I took my rolla to the NT, I was worried they would not pass mine, cause of the cage being welded, harnesses and seats cause of silly people doing the dodgy, but cause it was engineered here in QLD, it passed, they spent an amass time under the car, checking all the bushes, steering and braking system *edit, that would include corollas perhaps?
  16. Tidy i guess, just put fuel in her to get around, and spend money on the real car, any update on this yet? hope its ok on fuel also
  17. Hi Ken, I took both diffs to a diff shop and they sorted it out, I asked them to match the KE30 width, you can ask for it to be more to the leafs for dish yes you can chisel and grind the rolla mounts off and fit accordingly if your handy with that sort of gear, but for $450 to shorten the axels, housing and re-fit seems logical at the time I bent new brake lines up i figured gone this far, might as well start new and braking should never be overlooked
  18. haha thats too funny, must be that wet up in Darwizzle they wanted to get out, which rental company was it through, sounds like an hertz job? the funny thing about hybrids is you don't even know they are on, good thing they don't have hydrogen cars as mainstream
  19. yeah looks like an RN40 to me also, I would have thought they would have 4.3 gears in them, I got mine changed to 3.7 and is a great match to my setup, you can use pintara disc brake setup, or the hoppers front kit in falcon stud pattern
  20. wow nice pic Brad, you are the first person i know who has gone through the clem 7 btw, haha
  21. SSS you are referring to the FWD N14 pulsar, the engine mounts are different to the RWD version, and I'm am quite sure the block mounts are not the same as RWD version pay someone to do the coversion about 3-5k yourself if you know what your doing, about 1-2k
  22. you have posted this already before http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/49500-ke30/ *edit jono yes that was my reason 6 years ago when i began the build, i could not find a toyo engine i wanted to make the power and torque i needed safely, i have been looking at the 3RZ-T engine, but the head bolts stretch, they are making a kit i have been told now
  23. should bring her down, don't worry i have similar problem with sports going on been keen to have a look, i miss my EVO and seeing them in engine bays north south position is exciting
